Be cautious with missing persons reports

I’ve seen the occasional post on here saying someone is missing. You have to be really careful about these posts. Often times, abusers will post a missing person report on here so they can find their victim. Here are some red flags to differentiate abusers posts and actual missing people posts.

Abusers will try to find their victims again through claiming they went missing when in reality, the victim escaped. Be cautious.

hey, so that’s the situation. we owe a grand total of $367 to our power and internet companies. each of my doctor’s appointments has a $50 co-pay. i’m literally booked 1-2 times weekly on doctor’s appointments for the entirety of march. i’m naturally despondent, and hopeless, and listless, and near-victorian in my fucking despair here. i don’t know what to do except for write another post.

i’m working but it’s basically only paying enough to keep us all fed and put gas in the tank. i have no idea how to crawl out of debt while also being put through the ringer to find out if i’ll need a major surgery that’ll just sink us further into debt.

Heyo. If any of you would like to do something nice for my birthday, how about you donate a little something to this fundraiser? This man lost both his wife and eldest son to cancer that they couldn’t treat in time. And now his only remaining family has been diagnosed with cancer too.

if you watch the video on the fundraiser page you’ll see how much pain he’s in. He’s a laborer and as such can’t earn the money he needs in time. So please, if you have anything to spare, help him pay for his son’s chemotherapy. I know ppl say this all the time but every little bit counts

psa: if you’re a broke millennial who wants to do something small to help out struggling minorities right now, eat at a local chinese restaurant next time you go out. i just went to a lunch buffet, and the lady who runs it was so appreciative we were there because apparently business has been extremely slow for a lot of chinese places since the coronavirus outbreak. people are actually afraid of catching the virus from immigrants who haven’t been to china in years/decades, and it’s starting to have a negative impact on their livelihoods now that we’re a month into the panic.
