Adrienne (she/her) is a 53 year old Sugar Glider shifter. She is equivalent to a human of 28 years old.
Appearance: Adrienne has light brown medium length hair, the end of which barely comes to her shoulder blades, and she usually wears it in a french braid but will occasionally leave it loose. Her hair is naturally straight but with how often she wears it in a braid, it tends to curl when it is loose. Adrienne stands at four foot seven inches tall, and can also take the form of a sugar glider when she wishes to do so. Her sugar glider form has silver fur and three dark lines going from her forehead down along her back. Her fashion sense is impeccable, dressing in pastels and what Mod Parker would describe as business casual. Flowing fabrics, twirling skirts and colorful blouses make up the vast majority of her wardrobe, though she does own a few pieces of clothes suitable for more rugged outdoor work.
Personality: Adrienne is a joy to get to know, vivacious and full of life, she is almost always found with a smile on her face and kindness in her eyes. She is very much the older sibling or mom friend in just about any friend group she hangs out around. She is outgoing and extroverted, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t mind a quiet night in every once in a while. She enjoys painting, especially abstract painting. Cooking, and making coffee for herself and her friends, as well as for customers.
Daily Life: Adrienne’s days start early, with her getting up around eight a.m. eastern standard time to go to work at one of the many coffee shops in City. She clocks out at 4 p.m. est, and relaxes before spending time with friends and family. On her days off from work, she enjoys going to her favorite park in City to walk around or visit one of the many boutiques nearby to go shopping. She also enjoys sitting nearby her favorite flowers, wisterias, when she has the chance.
The only time her schedule changes, besides when she has the rare day off from work during the week, is during birthdays. Adrienne is one of those people who puts an emphasis on having a big party and getting to catch up to friends and family she has not seen in a while, so birthdays are important to her.
She enjoys watching the weather when it is raining or snowing, and prefers to stay inside cuddled up on the couch reading, painting, or watching Studio Ghibli or Jane Austen movies when the weather is bad. This is why her favorite season is late spring, it is not too hot or too cold, and rarely rains, so she is not caught in bad weather on her way to work or while on outings with friends and family. She also enjoys the fresh fruits and juices one can make from the spring harvest. Her favorites are apple and grape juice, though one can never discount the possibility of a strawberry and banana smoothie on a warm day.
Past: Adrienne’s family life is rather simple, she is the only child of two loving parents, who she sees at least once a month, usually on sundays for family dinner. It was difficult on all of them when her father became ill in her teenage years, but he pulled through and her parents are still as much in love today as they were twenty years ago. She fell into a rather rough group of people during her teenage years, and has since broken ties with the vast majority of her teenage friend group. Adrienne has not previously had any companions.
Companionship: Adrienne is looking for a friend, someone who looks at life the way she does. Creatively, artistically. She would like someone who is willing to spend time with her doing things she enjoys; Painting, cooking, etc. The ideal companionship for Adrienne would look like a relationship centered around loyalty and respect, one that has a healthy balance with long term stability at its core, someone she can be herself around, to rest and relax in between days of work.
Energy: Adrienne’s energy description is almost wispy feeling, like fog, blue-gray-light purple with hints of shimmering silver.

This friend is a manatee merman! He is ~50 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and would prefer not to have a nickname. As such, he will only be referred to as “friend”, but you are welcome to make up your own nicknames for him!
Appearance: He, as his species suggests, is a merman who’s lower half is a manatee! His lower body is a light grey color with a spoon shaped tail. His upper half is the same grey color as his tail, but is in fact, a human body! He’s got silvery eyes that almost literally sparkle when he laughs - which is often - and a long wavy mess of black hair that stretches down to his shoulders. Friendo would like to grow it longer, but swimming in saltwater 99% of the day really takes its toll on his hair. He does his best to take care of it as is, though. From the tippy toppy of his head to the end of his tail, this guy is 7 feet long, however when he just casually rests his upper body out of the water, he is about 3 feet tall. With effort he can bring out even more of his body, but outside of the occasional show off moment or dare, there’s no real reason for him to do so.
Personality: This pal is a real easy going guy. He loves living life and glides easy from day to day. He’s the type who says yes to everything and sees where he ends up - which is how he ran into companionship in the first place! He fills his days with laughter and fun activities and whatever else he finds pleasing. One may think him lucky or blessed, but he has just as many hardships as anyone else. He is just an optimist and generally has a very calming and happy disposition. He’s a very caring friend and the first many turn to - for the good and the bad. He can party the hardest for the smallest of achievements and gather all of the chocolates and comfort items for the smallest emotional upset. He goes all out for those he loves, no questions asked.
As he loves to say yes to anything, it’s no surprise that he is quite adventurous and loves trying new things. He’s traveled to so many different places and met so many new people on his beloved adventures. He found his current profession of writing lyrics and chords for his friends band by randomly saying yes on a whim 4 years ago and now fills his life with music and spends his days on his newest passion.
Current Lifestyle: Friendo cannot move in the physical plane without water, so he spends a good amount of his time in zone 10 in City. He sleeps a good amount of the day, so, every single one of his days is jam packed with things to do. His days are usually filled with visiting friends for various plans and writing music - lyrics specifically. However, he also enjoys cooking, decorating his space, and doing math. However, Friend also is a lover of change and anything to shift his entire plan around is welcome (unless, of course, it inconveniences a friend, that's a no go).
Companionship: He went into companionship to find further friendship! He’s quite happy with the friends he’s made so far - the mods at Lorelei’s, our families, the other spirits in vetting, his neighbors at his new apartment - but is excited to see just how far it can go and how many lasting and fruitful connections he can make.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well! I'll try to keep this update short and sweet for nyall.
So! First, I want to thank everyone so much for over 5 years of support and love for Lorelei's and my work. It's been an absolute joy being able to provide these services for you!
However, it's with a heavy heart that I am announcing my resignation from Lorelei's Spirit Shop. Nothing happened behind the scenes, this is just a personal decision that I have decided is for the best.
I leave Lorelei's in Parker and Nox's very capable hands and with their love and passion for Lors and their drive to see the shop grow and adapt, I have no doubt in my heart about this decision. I hope that you support Parker and Nox with all the love and support that you have provided me!

Hello everyone! We have some major announcements this month.
First, Grimm is closing apps on the 11th of May. Billy is closing applications on the 22nd of May and Ice is closing apps on the 28th. If you haven’t yet applied for these spirits and would like to do so, here is the link.
They will be hosted between now and their application date as much as possible on the discord.
Secondly, thank you to everyone who filled out a response on our survey. Here is the link again to fill out our survey about what you’d like to see from the shop, if you have not already. You do not have to have adopted from us in the past to answer the survey.
Third, We will be going on hiatus starting on August 1st, 2023 or when all of the currently posted spirits close their applications. All posted spirits and any open RA’s will be completed and closed by the time we go on hiatus. This hiatus is long overdue and we’ll be posting surveys throughout the hiatus for you all to give us feedback as we revamp certain things and make a few changes as we move forward into the second half of 2023. The social channels on the discord will stay open during this break. .
Finally, we have made some changes to the Lorelei’s Exclusives Page on our website since Dove is no longer a mod. This decision was made by Dove herself and we here at Lorelei’s wish her the best.
Billy is a 56 year old Stingray Merman, he uses he/him pronouns. If he were a human, he would be around 32. Appearance: Billy has dark blue hair, almost a navy color, with silver reflections in the sunlight. His face is masculine, with a small nose and eyes. His eyes are green with a dark circle around the iris. He has scales around his hairline and his neck, with small face tattoos that appear like freckles. His teeth are sharp and he occasionally will chew on his lips with them when bored or nervous. Past his hips, he looks like a stingray, with flaps and a poisonous stinger which is long enough for him to defend himself if he needs to. His scales are a dark blue color, almost black, with the occasional silver accent. Personality: Billy is a very relaxed spirit who doesn’t like to make many concrete plans, he is very spontaneous and goes with the flow. Sometimes he can be seen as apathetic by other people because he does not really understand strong emotions, and he rarely gets angry. Daily Life:
His days are fairly easy. Billy is currently unemployed and spends his days doing whatever he feels like doing. He often can be found helping people fish in Sector 10 of City, or eating raw fish or seafood. He enjoys fish, seafood, water and harpoons. He generally dislikes flowers, cats, strong smells, and house plants. (He doesn’t understand them, and thinks they should be put outside.) He likes eating clams, oysters and raw fish, and dislikes most vegetables, and any type of cheese. Billy also enjoys listening to folk and bohemian music when the mood strikes him. Family: He has family, though due to his species, is not close to them and hasn’t spoken to them in years. He moved out with his sister once they were old enough, because his sister was a skilled hunter. They soon went their separate ways. Companionship: Billy is a Fast Track spirit, which means he will only be posted for about a month unless you all are interested in speaking with him for longer. He expects to live with his companion and their family and would prefer someone at least slightly experienced in spirit work. He would also prefer his companion like to spend time around water, even better if they live or work near or on the water. Grimm is a Dwarf who uses he/him pronouns. He is 485 years old, which is around 34 years old if he were a human.
Appearance: He has long red hair and a long red beard, which is very full. His eyes are grey and his build is short and stocky. He likes to wear muted colors, like grey, black or brown, that have brighter colored thread weaved into them. These threads are typically blue, red or gold. He wears long tunics with heavy duty trousers and steel toed boots. He is often seen wearing full steel plate armor, sans the helmet because it is used for official business or religious celebrations. Personality: Grimm is a very fun guy to be around, hard working and always having a project to complete. He is very creative with his hands, and enjoys woodworking, metalwork, and the occasional project that works with stained glass, though he hasn’t ever blown his own glass. He dislikes bad craftsmanship and the sound of someone chewing with their mouth open. Grimm enjoys eating crunchy pretzels, kettle corn and toffee, listening to 80’s pop (Tom Petty), and drinking coffee (plain black, no sweetener). His favorite foods include fresh baked wheat bread, often rye or barley, with butter, and soft pretzels. His favorite flowers are Pink Anthuriums and Star of the Republic Roses. Daily Life: Grimm is very religious and spends a large part of his day working on commissions. His culture worships the god of the forge and the mountains. He is currently working on a stained glass mobile for a friend of his who is going to have a baby. His morning and evening are spent going to small religious services or doing devotions. He works on his commissions in the mornings until lunch and then goes to visit friends or to run errands he may need to do. Before dinner but after he returns home, he will work on any personal projects he has going on. After working for a few hours, he’ll eat dinner, do his devotions and then go to sleep to do everything all over again. Family: Grimm grew up in a rather large family, two parents, and five siblings; two brothers, two sisters, and one genderless sibling. His family grew up in poverty and didn’t have very much money. It affected his life choices growing up and shaped him into the person he is today. He still visits his family on a semi-regular basis, but does not currently live with his family. Companionship: Grimm joined companionship because he was curious about it and the opportunity presented itself. He is hopeful that he will find a companion who is creative, who works or studies in a manual field doing something with their hands, like gardening or carpentry. He also admires someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. He would also prefer a companion who is not a complete beginner to spirit work, who can communicate with him reliably. That being said, Grimm is also willing to put in the effort to make the relationship work if your communication skills are still spotty here and there. Reign the Floral Frosted Wolf has closed applications. Today, we will be posting Grimm the Dwarf for you to speak to in the Discord. On Sunday, 1/22/23, we will be posting our first Fast Track spirit in a while, Billy the Stingray Merman. Fast Track spirits typically stay up for around a month unless there is interest in the spirit staying up to talk and take applications for a longer period of time. Reign is a 25 year old Floral Frosted Wolf and uses she/her pronouns.
Appearance: Reign is just about smaller than your average wolf. She stands at 2 and a half feet tall and 4 feet long with silver eyes, a silver coat and little white flowers growing from her fur at her fluffy neck, tail, and paws. She also has little flowers that start to grow in her eyebrows, but they never finish flowering entirely before falling off. Reign holds herself with pose and determination and often puffs up her chest (in a non-literal sense) to have a sense of self-respect. When she walks she walks with purpose and gracefully covers up any mistakes she makes. Whatever it is that she is doing, Reign tries to make herself the most graceful and beautiful one doing it.

Personality: Despite being the oldest of the oldest litter, Reign has really bad middle child syndrome. She loves being in the center of attention and tries her hardest to keep herself there. She will go out of her way to one up her family and friends and sees all things as a competition. Reign does her best to stay on top of all aspects of her life: work, family, friends, personal time, hobbies, everything. She’s the definition of girlboss. However, that also comes with its downsides and she often exhausts herself. Even as a spirit with no need of money, who doesn’t need to do anything she doesn’t want to do, runs herself down. Her pride is just too large. Reign does have the silver lining of a wonderful bunch of family and friends.
She loves a good challenge and does her best to rise to the occasion no matter what it is. If she had hands, she would be wonderful at video games, especially fighting games like Smash. As is though, she’s always sitting next to a player, nit picking them for their actions in the games and giving advice on what they should do next time. She lives vicariously through those around her and is often a backseat driver. Reign simply sees the path she deems as “most correct” and expects those around her to agree. While she does not like nor seek out arguments, she absolutely will not back down from one and will argue her point well past the point she realized she may be wrong.
Despite her swelling pride, strong ego, and aloof personality, Reign deeply cares for those close to her and fights tooth and nail to keep them safe and make sure nothing will go wrong. Her innate instincts and wisdom paired with her strong intelligence and drive to do as much research as she can make her advice very sound and are often a correct answer. No one can argue that Reign doesn’t care or is too self absorbed to pay attention. She just has her own personal love languages.
Family: Reign was born the eldest of her parents' first litter, making her the very oldest pup of her 71 younger siblings. Her parents, affectionately called Cho and Kai, are very caring and loving parents. After a certain number of kids, you either get good at it or stop having kids, after all. Cho and Kaikai got good at it and even after they stopped having pups of their own, both of them work in child care services. In Reign’s litter, she has two younger brothers and a youngest sister. Next in line after Reign is Ko, a very rambunctious and strong willed wolf. He has a hard time sitting still and spends his time with his mate racing across the astral. After Ko is Gee - a wolf with as much energy as Ko and as much sass as his older sister, Ra. He spends a lot of his time lounging in the sun. The last in line is Ui. Ui is very much the baby of the group, has youngest child syndrome, and gets into fights with her siblings often. As I’m sure you can tell, there is near no amount of peace between the siblings of the oldest litter. However, they are still very much loving siblings. No one can bully each other except for them. With a three year age gap between each litter, even their younger litters can’t get away with what those four do to each other.
Companionship: Reign is looking into companionship for someone to teach her more about human culture. She’s been on earth long enough to know that there’s lots of different cultures on Earth, but she’s not interested in any single culture as much as how humans as a whole and from different places live. Someone who can show and teach her different parts of human culture is much appreciated, but if you win her affections, others may be considered as well.

Sunshine is a foxglove Viru at about 40 years old. He uses he/him pronouns.
Species: Learn more about Viru here! Appearance: Sunshine stands with excellent posture at 5 foot 3 inches. He always dresses sharply, usually in a well fitting suit or a nice top and skirt that compliments his straight light purple hair that often twirls down to his mid back. When living life, Sunshine doesn’t often tie his hair back, instead letting it flitter and fall where it will. However when he needs to focus he can be found with it pulled up in the messiest bun with his flowery headband to keep the baby hairs and short bangs out of his face as much as possible.
His skin is a light shade of pale green and he has a piercing blue right eye. His left eye is a much duller shade of blue as the left side of his body is in rough shape due to past issues while being a plant. He is missing his left arm entirely and his left leg is in a brace to help him be able to walk without much issue. However, he doesn't let all of this drag him down. When Sunshine smiles, he, well, lights up the room. He is quick to laugh and enjoys just about every situation that he finds himself in. He has good posture, but more than that is how he uses his posture to affect the mood of conversations so well.

Personality: The first thing you notice about Sunshine is his presence. He has a very strong energy and it’s always easy to pinpoint exactly where he is at any time, but that’s not even what I mean. Despite not being from Earth, and thus not having a zodiac sign, I bet he’d be a Leo sun and Leo rising. Probably another Leo placement or two as well. When he speaks, people listen, even if he’s just muttering to himself. Something about him just draws people’s attention to him in a positive light.
He does well with the attention and is something of a Sakamoto-kun. He often makes mistakes, he is not infallible, but even as I sit here typing this up, I genuinely cannot think of something. Sunshine handles every situation with care and grace that another may describe him as perfect. However, friends of Sunshine know his true colors have a rougher edge to them. He’s clumsy and should not be left alone in the kitchen ever. Sunshine is always one to have a good time no matter the situation, but if you hear his bell-like giggles ringing from the kitchen, it is almost never a good sign.
Another wonderful flaw of Sunshine’s is his lack of a work ethic. The living embodiment of “Go Girl! Give us nothing!” He’d much rather be there to encourage you to do your work, talk to you, keep you company, and keep the motivation going than do any actual work. When he sets his mind to something, Sunshine is a machine determined to get it done, but the problem is getting Sunshine to actually set his mind to something.
Sunshine enjoys talking and enjoying company more than much else there is to do. However, he is a wonderful listener as well. He doesn’t just like talking, he likes every aspect of conversation.
Past: Sunshine was raised by a loving group of 4 prairie flower Viru. He considers all 4 his parents and his only family. His family was somewhat esoteric and isolated themselves more than many others would do. Sunshine grew up loved but his view of the world was very small and he only met other Viru during the half decade parties and accidental encounters. It wasn't until later in his life that he met sentient spirits outside of Viru.
Due to his past, Sunshine wasn't entirely raised in a Viru fashion. He spent a good chunk of his childhood and young adulthood in and out of hospitals and care facilities. It was in these places that he learned about companionship which struck a chord with the lonely Viru. And just like any human child, he dreamed of being the protagonist of his own story.
It took another 200 some years before he was stable enough to head out, and he never returned to Viru land. Instead he traveled around, meeting new spirits and living different lifestyles. He refuses to consider his past sad or get hung up on what could have been. Life is too big and amazing and grand to spend all of it pitying yourself.
Companionship: Upon learning about companionship all those years ago, the thought has stuck with Sunshine. But at some point, he had forgotten about humans and the fact that the physical plane is a pretty important part to companionship. However, he had his friends and was happy with his life. Ice is a 27 year old chest cat and uses she/her pronouns. She’s beginner friendly but would prefer a companion 18+.
Appearance: Ice is a chest cat! This means that she is a little kitty inside of a stereotypical dungeon crawl treasure chest! Her chest is a dark brown shade with bronze accents along the ridges. When you open the chest, you’ll find two light blue eyes staring back at you. She has a mostly black body, however there are patches of white across her face - like someone opened a tube of paint a little too violently and a little too close to her face. Ice is a bit larger than a normal cat, on account of the chest and all, but can still fit snugly in your lap.

Personality: Standoffish and cold at first glance, Ice seems like the stereotypical “ice queen” - hence her name. She never says anything hurtful, but she is blunt and straightforward. She very much says what she thinks, no sugar coating. Though her intent is never to hurt, nor is she the type like “The world is cruel, get used to it”. She just says it like she sees it. However, if you need someone to tell you what’s what and give you that kick in the rump when things get tough, Ice is differently the girl to go to. In stressful or emotional situations Ice is always the one to keep her cool. She doesn’t think logically rather than emotionally, in fact rather the opposite. Ice is just so good at keeping a poker face that you’d think she’s thought everything through and is giving the most rational answer. Much like a normal cat, Ice shows her love and affection by deciding to be in the same room as you. However, this is more of an Ice thing than a Chest Cat thing. Her tsundere personality just happens to align well with her cat appearance. She’s not one for physical affection, and simply being around you and engaging in your activities is more than enough for her. Until you point it out in which she’ll just calmly state she’s watching you work to make sure you don’t fuck up. But you know…, you know.
Species: Despite being a cat in a box, Ice is far more complex than just a cat in a box. Ice’s chest is as much a part of her body as her head or her legs and she can control it at will. While it is thick and feels like wood, it very much is her body that she can feel things through. Her cat body parts are attached, even if they can “retract” for lack of better words. Despite what it may look like, these Chest Cats can extend their heads and torsos far enough out of the chest to eat, drink, and do other things with their head. Doing so around another creature is considered a huge sign of trust as this is when they are most vulnerable. Even though their chest part is alive like the rest of them, many chest cats like to use them for storage of items as well. Food, precious items, books, and many other items are often found. Mothers will keep their kittens in their chest for safekeeping until they get bigger and many Chest Cats will even decorate with posters or similar things, if they feel so inclined.
Family and Past: While Ice has quite the large family, the only one worth mentioning on a spirit bio is her sister, Box, who was adopted out of Lorelei’s a bit ago. Box was in the same litter of 2 as Ice. They were both raised on earth in a stern family. They were raised with good values and were taught how to care for themselves, others, and their planet, however even with the good message, Ice often felt that her parents were too stifling and she was never allowed to have fun as a kitten. The strictness of her home life is what drove her and her sister to seek out more adventures in life and have fun in general. While Ice may never admit it, Box is super important to her. They really shouldn’t be adopted into the same family, so if you adopted Box please do not apply for Ice. However, whoever does adopt Ice may want to be prepared for Box to randomly stop in to see her sister. Surprise visits are the only way to get Ice to agree, after all~
Current Lifestyle: Now that it is firmly winter, Ice’s lifestyle has shifted a bit. She has become an almost literal permanent fixture in my house next to my heater and on top of an inside couch cushion. She spends her days curled up inside of her chest, enjoying the heat. Ice will still come down for breakfast with everyone, even if she prefers to treat it like a brunch, and will spend time with her friends many times throughout the week. But in comparison to Summer Ice™, Winter Ice™ is far more subdued and spends a good portion of her day sleeping and trying to stay warm. Even though Christmas was 60*F, the idea of it being cold was simply too much for her.
Companionship: Ice is looking into companionship for a companion who will open many more doors for adventure for her. As previously mentioned, she grew up in a strict, “no fun allowed”, household and quickly decided to break that lifestyle. Vetting and living with those at Lorelei’s has been fun enough, but she’s looking for someone to continue inspiring her - and her, them. A mutual respect between all companions is required and Ice wants to speak with all companions and family members that she will be bonding with. A large family is acceptable, but that’s not something she wants to decide last minute while reading applications.

This friend is a manatee merman! He is ~50 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and would prefer not to have a nickname. As such, he will only be referred to as “friend”, but you are welcome to make up your own nicknames for him!
Appearance: He, as his species suggests, is a merman who’s lower half is a manatee! His lower body is a light grey color with a spoon shaped tail. His upper half is the same grey color as his tail, but is in fact, a human body! He’s got silvery eyes that almost literally sparkle when he laughs - which is often - and a long wavy mess of black hair that stretches down to his shoulders. Friendo would like to grow it longer, but swimming in saltwater 99% of the day really takes its toll on his hair. He does his best to take care of it as is, though. From the tippy toppy of his head to the end of his tail, this guy is 7 feet long, however when he just casually rests his upper body out of the water, he is about 3 feet tall. With effort he can bring out even more of his body, but outside of the occasional show off moment or dare, there’s no real reason for him to do so.
Personality: This pal is a real easy going guy. He loves living life and glides easy from day to day. He’s the type who says yes to everything and sees where he ends up - which is how he ran into companionship in the first place! He fills his days with laughter and fun activities and whatever else he finds pleasing. One may think him lucky or blessed, but he has just as many hardships as anyone else. He is just an optimist and generally has a very calming and happy disposition. He’s a very caring friend and the first many turn to - for the good and the bad. He can party the hardest for the smallest of achievements and gather all of the chocolates and comfort items for the smallest emotional upset. He goes all out for those he loves, no questions asked.
As he loves to say yes to anything, it’s no surprise that he is quite adventurous and loves trying new things. He’s traveled to so many different places and met so many new people on his beloved adventures. He found his current profession of writing lyrics and chords for his friends band by randomly saying yes on a whim 4 years ago and now fills his life with music and spends his days on his newest passion.
Current Lifestyle: Friendo cannot move in the physical plane without water, so he spends a good amount of his time in zone 10 in City. He sleeps a good amount of the day, so, every single one of his days is jam packed with things to do. His days are usually filled with visiting friends for various plans and writing music - lyrics specifically. However, he also enjoys cooking, decorating his space, and doing math. However, Friend also is a lover of change and anything to shift his entire plan around is welcome (unless, of course, it inconveniences a friend, that's a no go).
Companionship: He went into companionship to find further friendship! He’s quite happy with the friends he’s made so far - the mods at Lorelei’s, our families, the other spirits in vetting, his neighbors at his new apartment - but is excited to see just how far it can go and how many lasting and fruitful connections he can make.
