Love Bites - Dick Grayson Headcanon

➔ The first bite was out of nowhere.

➔ You both were cuddling on the sofa and watching a random show that was on TV. He pulled you closer, wrapping his arm dangerously close to your mouth. At that moment you felt so loved by the man that you did the only logical thing that came to your mind.

“Ow! What was that for?” Dick jumped; his reaction was more of a surprised one than actual pained.

You just shrugged, “I just love you so much,” you replied innocently before turning your attention back to the TV.

➔ It confused him to no end. Why you felt the need to express your love by biting him?

➔ The second time you randomly bit him was on a random morning.

➔ He was eating cereal by the sink while texting on his phone. It was very early, and while you were extremely sleepy after a long shift at the pub, you couldn’t help but wake up due to the lack of warmth by your side.

➔ You hugged him from behind, leaning your cheek against his back as you whined sleepily causing him to chuckle at your morning neediness.

➔ At that moment, you don’t know what came over you, but you felt such a wave of passion and love towards this amazing man and you didn’t know how to express it.

➔ You bit the back of his shoulder.

➔ And again, he was confused. “You bit me again.” He turned to you, speaking with an amused chuckle.

You shrugged like you did the first time, “Couldn’t help it, I just love you so much.”

➔ Your bites didn’t hurt, but they sure as hell were confusing. Why did you feel the need to express your love by biting him?

➔ After a quick survey and research, he realized those kinds of love bites were more common than he thought.

➔ And honestly, in a weird – Dick Grayson – way, he felt honored when he understood what those bites truly meant. So, when the next bite happened, he was ready.

➔ It was a rainy weekend night; a true-crime documentary was on the TV as you both were cuddling on the sofa comfortably. He hugged you closer to him, and once again, his arm was dangerously close to your mouth.

➔ You bit him.

➔ Just this time, he wasn’t startled by the sudden random act, nor did he question it.

➔ Dick just chuckled in amusement, kissed the back of your head lovingly, and turned his attention back to the TV.

➔ Satisfied, you did the same.

Happyhoganon: If Joker was crippled from the neck down and was stuck in bed for the rest of his life in Arkham Asylum in that alternate future timeline (that's not a Batman Beyond type one), do you think he'll strike somehow without doing anything physically?

I’m not so sure unless he’ll have help from inside the Asylum, yet I’m pretty sure that it wouldn’t be the same for him as he loves being the face and a part of the action just to see the fear and terror on people’s faces, so just doing harm without being a part of it physically wouldn’t be the same for him. Although, I feel like his joy in getting the Batman worked up and getting a visit from his dear old friend Batsy just to taunt him would be too tempting to miss on the opportunity. So my answer is, sure, why not? I don’t know how much he will be able to pull the strings being completely crippled and watched over inside the Asylum, but for him to be broken out of there by his minions isn’t such a farfetched possibility... and I don’t think that as long as the Batman lives he will pass on the opportunity to terrorize Gotham just to work his favorite vigilante up. I mean, why so serious, right?

Happyhoganon: If an eighty year old Batman had fought crime in Gotham City for decades and the only threats to him and the city lately are a wheel chair bounded Penguin, your usual purse snatchers and a few con artists popping up every now and then, how well could the Dark Knight do in maintaining the peace in Gotham despite him being just somewhat fit to do that as an elderly man (which says A LOT given how old he is)?

The Batman’s job is never done, and he will have to have an heir that will continue his work and will protect Gotham. Just like superheroes have their sidekick and young and impressionable adults that look up to them, also does the villains so it’s hard to believe that the only crime in Gotham’s streets would be a wheelchaired Penguin and purse-snatchers. Let’s not forget mobs and drug dealers, and just like Joker found Harley Quinn he would be able to find others that will follow his legacy (For example: Batman Beyond). Just like every fallen hero has another one that rises in his or her place, so do villains. It’s hard for me to believe that even decades after the original Batman is gone, any sort of crime in Gotham would stop. But I would go with your hypothesis. If an eighty-year-old Batman had fought crime in Gotham City for decades and the only threats to him and the city lately would be a wheelchair bounded Penguin, the usual purse-snatchers, and few con artists popping up every now and then, he wouldn’t be able to do as well as he used to do in maintaining the peace due to his age and therefore his physical condition, he would probably manage to some degree due to his typical stubbornness and eagerness for justice to be served one way or another. Even if he would be too proud to admit it, he would need all the help that he could get, but I believe that he could manage to continue and protect his city for as long as he can jump from one roof to another and give a good beating.

Reason for URL: I was severely bullied by my ex-bff's early into my 1st year in junior-high, and felt alone and lonely most of the time. My imagination became a shield, and writing it became an escape route. Started writing pretty bad stories about Justin Bieber in my mother tongue in some forum, and slowly found comfort in the English language and transferred my writing from Hebrew to English first in wattpad and then created a blog on Tumblr for my Teen Wolf one-shots and DC comics characters. Needed a platform, and tumblr was there for me ❤

Ummm new movies definitely!

wonderwoman with the gorgeous Gal Gadot and Black Widow is pretty much the definition of awesome.

Maybe I'll start doing new stuff, I really want to start my own YouTube channel where I critic movies and shows, but really going into it, maybe sing a little and talk about alcohol - not sure yet.

Jason: You know. It really breaks my heart that you would just ASSUME that one of us did it. Really shows who you trust, huh, batman? God forbid you'd interrogate DICK.
Bruce: assu- ASSUME? In this family there are THREE people who would EVER even THINK to tie someone up, cover them in glitter and put them on top of the christmas tree. [points viciously at the slightly worse-for-wear pinetree] AND IT'S YOU
Steph: [studying her nails] sounds like sexism to me
Tim: [arms crossed] circumstantial at best
Jason: [grinning] got any FACTS to corroborate that accusation B?
Bruce: I-
Damian: [from the doorway; his clothes, hair and skin covered in glitter] It was Todd and Brown. Though I do not doubt that Drake assisted in planning it.

I actually doubt that it would be possible at all. 

Most villains have some sort of a vengeful motive that, practically, blinds them, or they simply want power and this is the only way for them to get that.  I would assume that if this villain is actually a kid that was wronged or a person that at the core of his heart and overall existence is a good person it would be something that is possible.

Most villains at the DC universe are basically psychopaths or simply power-hungry such as Joker, Deathstroke, Luthor, etc. so I don’t see any possibility for a rehabilitation - just to be stopped the old fashion way.

Side note: Also, let’s not forget some psychopathic tendencies within the Justice League - we do have Batman after all that with all my love for him I find him insane and unstable, also the CW version of Oliver Queen, Superman proved to be quite the dictator at the ‘Injustice’ AU.

As for my answer - No. Most villains are way too deep that even if they want to wrong their doing it would be close to impossible.  and let’s not forget that old Habits die hard - it’s carved into them so hard that it would be almost impossible for a successful or any kind of rehabilitation.

A Trustworthy Promise - Tim Drake Imagine

Prompt: A trustworthy promise of the reader and Tim to one another.

Word Count: 1,111

Inspiring Song: ‘The Scientist’ by Coldplay.

A/N: a message from anon that loved Tim Drake’s ‘I’m Glad You’re Alive’ imagine, encouraged me to open a bit more of my heart and vulnerability. So I hope you’ll like it. Feel free to share your experiences in the comments or in my inbox!

She couldn’t understand.

Her whole life she would joke with her father about the poor man that would wake up by her side one day, about how he wouldn’t know what he’s gotten himself into.

She would laugh. But deep down, she believed it as strongly as she believed the sun would rise and set on a beautiful world that looked so dark sometimes.

She couldn’t understand the man that was currently lying below her. Her confused and sad e/c eyes scanned the beautiful face of a man that overwhelmed her with this strange feeling that people would define as “love”. His gorgeous steel-blue eyes crossed hers, his eyes puzzled at the strange look in her eyes.

He smiled softly, his lips mattering a quiet and amused ‘What?’ as his warm palms rubbed her exposed thighs.

She blushed lightly at his expression, letting her messy h/c hair fall on her face before her eyes moved to scan the man’s old childhood home’s bedroom.

It was bigger than she could ever dream of, coming from Central City’s poverty. Living under a small roof with her single mother and younger brother, dreaming of a better future kept her busy for a majority of her life – so consumed by repaying her mother’s sacrifices and working hard for a better future, love life seemed like nothing but a Hollywood fantasy until six months ago.

How did I get here?

She wondered quietly in her head.
