jj maybank x reader

y/n huffed, throwing her bags down, immediately walking past the door. her body and legs felt like they were soon going to give out on her, although it was miserable she had to work at the wreck to make ends meet. the couch caught her once she fell, clothes reaking of fried food and grease. she can hear her boyfriends footsteps against their apartment floor, and she wants to move to greet him but her soreness won’t let her.

jj’s taken in her rough state, simply expecting it. he’s leaned over the black couch, stoking through her tousled hair. whilst whispering sweet things into her ear. “rough day baby?” he speaks aloud.

“yes,” she groans into the throw pillow.

“tell me about it,” his voice is slow and soothing to her.

“there was .. so many people babe, and this costumer had the worst attitude when i was told that i couldn’t give her a refund. it was all just so much at once being that this was my 5th long shift this week,” she rambles.

“how ‘bout this?” he squeezes her hand. “i’ll run a warm bath for us, maybe give you a massage or two..”

she doesn’t even reply, as she gets up using her last bit of energy to make her way to their bedroom, jj holding her up along the way. she’s callapsed onto the bed, kicking her shoes and socks off.

“which pair baby,” jj’s holding up panties and bras, getting her to pick which set she wanted.

“left,” y/n referred to his hand with the black pair. carrying it with its daintiness to the bathroom. jj’s feet met with the cold tiled floor, bending down to start the water, the bathroom echoing. a vanilla scented candle was lit, placing it at the edge of the bathtub. jj stripped down, stopping the water that soaped up the filled tub with bubbles. the lukewarm water against his skin caused goosebumps. y/n stumbling behind, giving jj an exhausted smile. covering her naked self whilst she gazed at the bathtub and the sight inside of it.

“c’mon while the waters warm bub,” he grins, doing grabbing hands. crossing herself over the white porcelain she seats herself between jj’s legs, arms falling against his thighs. sinking down, whilst he leaned her head against his chest, water up to her ribs. his fingers are circling her shoulder, working out her tenseness.

“you really didn’t have to do this j,” she mumbles, eyes hooded.

“shh, i wanted to baby,” he tuts. pulling a strand of hair behind her ear. feathering kisses against her neck, tracing her collar bone with his finger tip. he admires her so soundly. “i swear .. it’s like .. you were made for me.” jj doesn’t know, but she can’t hear him because she’s already fallen asleep. he just continues to talk because her soft hums are comforting for him.

she’s awoken out of her sleep once his hands are trailing closer up her thighs. “too tired for-“

“tomorrow jj, not tonight.”

“what about-“

“no, j.”

“it’ll put you to sleep,” he reminds.

“i’m already tired!”

“Alright, listen up you dirty pogues!” JJ announced, trying his best to stand steadily on a chair and not fall over. He outstretched his arms which caused his beer to slosh out of the can and smack onto the floor. JJ just looked at it and his mouth formed into and o shape before he shook it off and kept talking. You giggled to yourself, watching the blonde boy captivate the room. You always admired JJ for the way he could catch the attention of just about anyone so easily, no matter what situation. You smiled as you watched him look at his wrist, pretending he was looking at a watch, while waiting for your friends to give him their full attention. Your crush on JJ was kept a secret, with the exception of John B, because one time he walked in on you crying in the bathroom at a party because JJ had announced he had a new girlfriend. Who, by the way, lasted about a total of a few days.
