“Huh. I remember that, too, now that you mention it.”
“No one said getting engaged was the easy part. I don’t even know where to start.” Izuku’s grumbles dissolve into his trademark mumbling, and he aggressively flips the pages of the magazine with his free hand. Shouto grabs his hand and rubs his thumb over Izuku’s knuckles until the tension leaves his shoulders.
“Hey, we’re in this together. And people plan weddings all the time while working full-time jobs, so it shouldn’t be that hard…right?”
