idk who needs to hear this but racebending is not okay in any situation. idc if it’s “fictional”, you’re still using a real person as the face of a character. there are so many fcs you can use to match the ethnicity of your oc, choosing to not change the fc / oc’s ethnicity after being educated on the issue is choosing to be ignorant, and that’s inexcusable. stop using stupid excuses to defend your behaviour and actually listen to people who are trying to explain to you why what you’re doing is wrong.
@/twicejade @/vmpkilla and possibly many others <3 stop using a 100% chinese fc for your chinese-italian oc, stop using a 100% korean fc for your korean-japanese oc. being a poc does not give you a free pass to racebend. instead of calling people who are trying to educate you “obsessed”, maybe fix your obsession w racebending.
