idk man I don't think this is ai? like, it's creepy and definitely uncanny valley but it could just be the costumes? perhaps I am regarding this unbespectactledly and not clocking the ai art flags but to me it really doesn't look like ai?

Without consent?!?! Have these people completely lost all their remaining braincells? How about they use decased family members of the CEOs, without consent?! But then they would probably start whining and protesting.
Also while I preferred that there would not be any scans at all (let theses people rest in peace) at least they should pay the family members of the deceased.

Seriously?! What video was this? Why would they include a princess that looks like the idolized version of a "perfect (white) woman" in a princesses of colour video?

If any of y’all are still out here simping for disney after the heinous shit bob iger said about the sag-aftra/wga strike I think you need to rethink….your entire moral code really.
I don’t care if you love the creative IP Disney owns, it’s not a company of artists, it’s a fucking soulless corporation who would rather let the artists who make those movies you love so much starve on the street than compensate them fairly.
You’re a selfish fucking asshole if you care more about your mid disney content then you do about the well-being of the people making it.
A lot of the shit Disney does and did (one could make a whole seperate post about that tbh) never or rarley gets reported in german speaking media, unfortunately. I hope in the future they do.

Now with SAG and WGA strike and hollywood being frozen while people are fighting for their rights, I would really love if there was like thread where pdople would reccomend media from different countries, and not just the normal ones that are overflowing the media.
Reccommend favorite series or movie from your home country, or undderrated show or movie not made by hollywood.
If you like a mystery, fantasy series featuring horses and in my opinion good character development, you should try out this one.
I don't think it is available with subtitles though, but it could be good to learn German, since the German used is not that difficult.
The plot: Charlie is a rebellious teenager, who after a fight with her mother and subsequent accident gets send to a small horse centre in the countryside to relax and calm down. Soon she along with 4 other teens sent there discover there is more to this place than meets the eye.

Why do people hate 2012 Splinter? I just found a fanfic that bashed 2012 Splinter so badly I nearly cried. They painted Splinter as a bad father and very homophobic. I don’t understand. They are plenty of episodes where Splinter proved that he was a good father. Yes, there are some episodes where Splinter should have handled the situation a little better, but people make mistakes. That’s what makes him a good character. He makes mistakes. The homophobic part, I don’t understand at all. Splinter is strict, but not that strict. He would be accepting of his children’s decisions. If any of the turtles or their friends came out, he would be proud of them for accepting of who they are.
I even seen another fanfic on Ao3 where the turtles were nothing more than soldiers. Not brothers or even a family. That angered me so badly I just stopped reading TMNT fanfics for a while. Didn’t the author watch the show? There are episodes throughout the seasons until his death where he grounded or forbade the turtles from leaving the lair because he feared for their safety. In the Season 2 finale, Splinter attacked Shredder because he believed that Shredder killed Leo. (From my perspective.) And as for training them? They are mutants. He wanted them to have a way to defend themselves. He knew that he will not always be around to protect them.
Honestly I dont know anon. I genuinely dont understand that either. Like yes Splinter made mistakes but he is not NEARLY as awful as the fandom says he is. He's a good kind loving parent.
And the funny part is that it only seems to be 2012 Splinter who gets this treatment. Especially from Rise fans.
Like they will go on essays and essays defending Rise Splinter to the end of the earth because "he's heavily traumatized"
And then they turn around and VILIFY 2012 Splinter when guess what? HE IS ALSO HEAVILY TRAUMATIZED!
His brother murdered his wife, kidnapped his daughter and burned down his HOME. That is highly traumatizing.
Splinter knows the world is a dangerous place, his entire LIFE got upended all in a single night because of one man. And then the Kraang are actively hunting him and the turtles down in their first months. He HAD to train them in order to defend themselves because he couldnt just keep them underground for their entire lives. (Plus I think a part of it was him trying to keep his culture and the last of his clan alive because the entire Hamato clan almost got WIPED OUT/joined Shredder.)
And the whole thing about him being homophobic? That just feels really racist to me? Like the asian parent would automatically be homophobic. Even though Splinter knows first hand what it feels like to be shunned for something you cannot control.
The fandom can be very tiring sometimes and Im so sick of all the slander these characters get
I guess some of them are either pretty young or are the type of people that think being strict = automatically abusive. 2012 Splinter is strict, but it makes sense in the situations where is like that. He loves his sons and people need to stop pretending their weird twisted fanon version is canon.

Don't they already have an extended universe based on the animated original movie? If they want to expand, they should expand on that. They could make an animated movie about Kiara (was that her name? It's been a while since I saw the second movie) leading the pride. There is no need for another movie with creepy looking "live action" animals.
