I had the cutest idea I’ve seen fics where Os borrows Jims clothes and it hangs off him cause he smol but what about in idk 20 years when Oswald’s bigger and he gets to lend Jim a jacket or something and he finally gets to feel the reverse of seeing Jim swamped in his jacket 🥺

I see no reason why I can’t be both the love interest and the antagonist

Oswald visits a new bar where he runs into Jim. But of course he's not there to party - it's a case. Oswald decides to help Jim out, and from then on it's in your hands.

Will they find the criminal? Will they grow closer or remain as they were? What about a seaside vacation?

Expect semi-detective plot, flirting, bits of comedy and a bunch of different endings depending on your choices and the amount of points you gain through the game. Don't expect the criminal to be smart though XD

Jim and Oswald would be the kind of people who no one would ever expect to be dating because they are so professional and neutral around each other and they would also argue a lot but when they are alone they would be all over each other

Had an idea for a fic or more like a premise and idk how to actually turn it into a fic so I’m sharing it here

But I was thinking about Jim like you do and specifically how he handles and expresses his emotions and there’s only one time in the show where he’s actually on the verge of tears (which absolutely destroys me every time I see it) and besides that Jim just does not cry. And maybe the show was going for a tough guy who doesn’t cry cause he’s just so masculine and he just decides to hold it all in. I think though Jim is the type who literally physically can’t cry when he’s upset. I relate to Jim a lot and I’m this kind of person and the thing is maybe you don’t cry in the moment but those tears do come out eventually. You’d expect a massive breakdown? But no you’re eyes just randomly water and they don’t stop watering and you don’t notice it until you need to wipe them away and it’s annoying. You’re not even feeling the feelings you’re just crying for seemingly no reason. Yay depression. Anyway this fits Jim so much he’s built to have delayed responses to traumatic events because he’s all actions he can’t think about it he’s just go go go.

So basically I was just imagining Jim minding his business (I’m imagining this between season 3 and 4) and his eyes one day just start watering in the middle of his shift when nothings even happening he’s just filling out some reports n shit and he does not notice at all until he gets a water mark on his paper. So he wipes his eyes is like “huh weird” and just carries on.

Harvey asks if he’s okay but Jim is able to appease him pretty easily that he’s okay he must of just got dust in his eye or something because his voice doesn’t shake. Nothing else is out of the ordinary he just blinks out a couple droplets every now and then. Besides that everyone around Jim is politely ignoring the trickling water fountain and while he’s ignoring it himself it just gets progressively more annoying.

Then I’m not sure he’d probably have to see Oswald for some reason or another and I know Oz would be unable to keep his mouth shut like everyone else. And yeah that’s where the idea sort of loses momentum it’s the kind of thing you’d maybe need a greater plot to explore I think it’s an interesting concept though because I think Jim feels a lot and it’s not obvious to the people around him. Except maybe Oswald cause he often sees through him to an extent.

I just discovered that little animated comic The Whole Frozen Affair that the actors voiced and everything that takes place during the time skip right after Galavan is killed and oh my god— Pretty sure it’s not canon cause it doesn’t really fit in with the narrative, Oswald seems too… not depressed honestly for one thing BUT
