Never thought I'd reach this day ...
I think the last thing that could've ever crossed my mind when I joined this fandom, was that there would be an end to me staying here. Sure, it is possible that I remain here forever, but one thing we're all taught is how nothing in life lasts forever, whether it be the bad, or even the good.
But here I am today. I never thought I'd ever need to say this, but it seems I do. I'll be leaving the fandom on the 1st of October this year. I know that that's a pretty short notice, it's probably today for the most of you by the time you're reading this, but that's partly caused by the problem which is the main reason as to why I am writing this here today.
I've been going through rough and good times. Last time I wrote something this long here was when I announced going on a hiatus from Tumblr. Well, a little bit of an update from there, I'm working again, and more than usual. With my studies as my main priority at the moment, I am absolutely occupied with so many things.
I know that some of you would say it is still possible that I at least stay here, which is true. However, such does not only go as far as that but actually further, consisting of many personal matters which I shall not touch on this post.
Simply put, however, I am getting really busy with a lot of responsibilities regarding myself, my family, and work-related stuff etc., and being here, although really fun, also somewhat stands in the way of my career in a few aspects. Which is why I made my decision to take my leave from this place.
It's one of the most hardest decision that I ever had to make in my life, but it's a much needed decision. I'll miss you guys a lot, I've been here for so long and it feels impossible to let go of everything I've been through here.
This marks an end to my 6 years of journey in this amazing family. For a long time, the fandom has been running many amazing projects and events in celebration of the Madagascar franchise. I feel honoured to have been a part of this very special place, and to have served this community for what seems like forever.
Here I leave with one final gift for the fandom. It may not be the greatest nor it is the best, and it's definitely not polished due to time constraints, but I hope that it would be enough as a sign of thanks to this wonderful community. I want to thank everyone for being amazing friends to me. All of you mean a lot to me, and I hope that the fandom shall continue to strive and advance forward.
Together we've crafted glory for our fandom, let our fandom touch the sun. We are Stardust!
Dedicated to those which precede us, and those who shall succeed...
