i think a lot about how xehanort has actually met and spoken with the master of masters multiple times and may be one of the very few people who have post age of fairy tales - maybe the only one at all. and like...
does xigbar...know? is he aware? and if he is, i wonder how he feels about it. in my head i get the impression luxu has never been entirely comfortable around MoM but follows him bc what's he gonna do? defy him? hell no. (and i hc MoM as luxu's dad but that's neither here nor there.) and like, the whole point of luxu's character is being shoved off into the great beyond with no guidance, no contact, no nothing except a box and a keyblade.
so when MoM pops up again, starts hanging around xehanort, gives him the /same goddamned coat/, and xehanort eventually gets the /same goddamned keyblade/, and starts being manipulated in the same exact way - like a luxu 2.0....how does that feel?
is he scared? jealous? protective? relieved that at least someone who's still alive knows even a sliver of what he went through? all of the above? who know.

Everyone's all "i'll fuck your dad" until they realize that means they'd have to fuck someone over 40. and those people are weak.

Hundreds of Jewish anti-war demonstrators have been arrested during a Passover seder that doubled as a protest in New York, as they shut down a major thoroughfare to pray for a ceasefire and urge the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, to end US military aid to Israel.
The 300 or so arrests took place on Tuesday night at Grand Army Plaza, on the doorstep of Schumer’s Brooklyn residence, where thousands of mostly Jewish New Yorkers gathered for the seder, a ritual that marked the second night of the holiday celebrated as a festival of freedom by Jews worldwide.
The seder came just before the US Senate resoundingly passed a military package that includes $26bn for Israel.
the Columbia University arrests are worse than they seem. They're arresting protesting students for trespassing. It goes without saying students cannot meaningfully "trespass" in the common areas of a university they attend. So Columbia University has suspended all student protestors from their institution, in the process revoking their access to housing, their belonging, and most crucially damaging their academic futures. We are witnessing full scale silencing and removal of anyone of conscience from the next generation of academia.
beyond that the columbia common is literally an open space during the day; the gates are open and it's possible to pass through it like you'd pass through a regular block. even after my student ID expired i was still able to walk through the commons bc ID is not requested until you enter an actual building. it's quite common to see parents, toddlers, and such who are clearly not enrolled just hanging out. so not only were the students not trespassing at a SCHOOL THEY PAY FOR, there was also not a precedent for non-students to be disallowed from the grass and walkways.

sighs...ansem was alone for like. 70+ years. i feel like even a relative loner like him must have been wanting for company.
anyway i headcanon him as taking a lot of strolls amongst the populace of various worlds in his potato sack form before eventually destroying them. just some mysterious, formless man. he's become a legend or cryptid in numerous societies because of it. the robed figure who shows up, watching in the corner of a busy market, or perched upon a parapet, or deep in the back of an opera house. he speaks in your head. you don't think he has a mouth.
and then shortly after, things start going...wrong. people disappearing. yellow eyes flickering in the shadows of the forest that don't seem like any animal you've ever seen. a deep chill in your bones despite the sunny day. something isn't right.
