The most sincereliest thank you to you bud! I'm not sure if making people want to pull their teeth out is exactly the impact that I want to gain with my fiction and so it's slightly confusing why I liked this message so much! And yes please be in love with me! I haven't had any luck on Tinder but perhaps that's only because I haven't mentioned my True Detective fics there.

for the mash-up if you’re feeling inspired: poorly timed confession & magical accidents for my babies r/s :)

Here you go! This is a very silly, and may I repeat myself, very silly story in which Remus is turned into a 'girl'. For a 'prank'. Some Unforeseen Consequences of an Unfortunate Prank Ages ago I wrote this story in which Remus accidentally turns into a girl and Sirius who thinks he's straight falls in love with Remus-the-'girl'. I think that was a trope back then, I don't know about now. But lately I've sometimes thought about that story and about the idea of gender in it must've been pretty binary and stupidly normative. So, I kind of wanted to try writing around that idea now. I still felt like I was being pulled into normative understandings of gender or sexed bodies - like, the main idea that Remus now looks like a girl kind of relies on norms about how girls look like or are supposed to look like, compared to boys? But well, here it is and writing it was fun if not a bit confusing, and also as you may have realised by now the story itself is crack-ish romcom-ish silliness.

Oooh I would love to see your take on Minerva, please. I think in the books she's described as having dark hair, and so maybe not as old as our Queen Dame Maggie. But only it it take your fancy❤❤❤

I loved so many of the performances of the actors in the movies too but always felt like the ages were not as accurate as my brain would like (but we disregard lots for the sake of enjoying art, no?) I initially used your ask as a fire to start my Harry Necklace comic which I will be getting back to soon, but felt like I should give a bit more love to Minerva, still! Glad I kept your ask for when the mood and time found me~

#all of us strangers#finally saw this today!#and I really really REALLY liked it#I had supposed I'd like the intimacy/romance part because I had seen gifs but I also liked the part about his parents A LOT#and when I say I 'liked' it I mean I silently cried in the movie theatre while feeling that my heart was being squeezed into a meatball#and the movie left me feeling so raw I honestly can't remember when the last time was that a piece of fiction hit me in the face like that#now I'm kind of considering that I'd go see it again next week#in my high hopes that might give me a chance to explore my meatball heart a bit more?#but anyway I really loved this#I think it was very delicate and dealt with difficult themes surprisingly well#and also there was some stuff that shouldn't have worked but it did???#now plot SPOILERS:#I didn't LOVE the plot twist about H#at that point it kind of seemed like too much? like 'this was't real either?!' and it kind of felt more absurd than touching?#or like it felt like too much losing people at that point so that it didn't really reach my heart anymore#but well on the other hand I really appreciate it that they kind of get away with 'oh! it was all a dream!' kind of a plot#the other thing that I didn't love was the slow fades between the frames or whatever they're called? that seemed like an odd style#but all in all I really loved this movie and I was very very very sad about the parent thing and I didn't expect to be#also the touches and the intimacy brought though them was SO GOOD#I mean so devastating but yeah#and the conversations with the parents#and how you can kind of never be a perfect child or a perfect parent? and how these things may actually be difficult?#okay I guess this is enough praise for tonight#this movie made me feel SO LONELY and SO SAD and I appreciate it so much

May I just say that I got this comment on AO3 for a story that was dated 2006 and I refrained from answering that my dude, are you aware you are a teenager???

Also it makes it kind of even funnier that the fic is in Finnish? So it’s safe to assume they haven’t read it, they are just shocked about how long ago 2006 was. I know bud, I’m shocked too!

My favorite ultra-specific character type is "this fucked up little man clearly just needs a consensual BDSM relationship and some therapy and he'd be fine, but that is very much not what happens in this story."
