“Nothing, just been dealing with school.”

“That’s good, so how are you Ms. Vera?”

“I’m fine; I came by to check on you. I’m worried about you.” I led them in the living room and sat down on the couch with them doing the same afterwards.

Coming downstairs I was headed for the kitchen to get myself something quick to eat before I went to sleep until I heard knocking on my front door.

I spent all day helping Jayce get her room together, we painted yesterday so we had to wait for the room to fully air out all the while getting furniture taking of trucks, putting her bed and desk together, moving furniture around, hanging things up, I was too tired. She was already knocked out in her new room and now I was ready to enter dreamland with her, but now I have to see who the fuck is knocking on my door.

Pulling my eyes away from my phone I looked out the window trying to figure out where on earth Kaylin was trying to take me, but I couldn’t. It was a quarter to six and pitch black outside.
