Hello I'm here I'm alive (physically, I'll have to get back to you on mentally), I apologize for the long absence and I'm very glad to still have people checking out my MDZS blog! Last year was really rough on me, and I actually ended up sucked into a completely different thing for a while (still am, lmao, maybe expect some occasional crossover between MDZS and The Arcana from me). But I missed MDZS, so I'm back on this blog to be more active. Thanks to everyone who stuck around while I was gone. ❤

I'm obsessed with The Arcana as well as MDZS lately so:

#avoiding spoilers as best i can heres an explanation for people who dont know what tf this means#in the arcana it is possible for someone to be brought back to life even if their body is destroyed#the person conducting the ritual has to sacrifice half of their literal heart but it isnt a kind of necromancy#the person brought back aint a zombie theyre legit flesh and blood#the downside is that when someone comes back they remember nothing of their previous life or their death#and if they start to remember via a trigger and not of their own accord it can cause extreme pain#im not entirely sure if its life-threatening but the story of the game does imply that its at least a possibility#for people who know what im talking about xichen is basically asra but with different baggage#me? combining my two major interests in an au i will never write? more likely than you think#the untamed#mdzs#nielan#lxc#nmj#not gonna tag the game itself bc apparently theres some drama or something and i aint about that#i survived the voltron fandom already i dont need that shit#lmao#xichen speaks

My username is Xichen (you all know why, lmao) on the virtual pet site Rescreatu, and I'm a moderator. In exchange for working for the website I got my very own item that users can buy from an NPC shop for the website's virtual currency! I got to design it, and a site artist did the official artwork. I even got to write the item description! Since I wanted to avoid copying him directly, I designed a soft little dragon with the colours of Xichen's robes, holding a tiny flute. Here he is in all his plush glory!!

Baxia meows from her spot on the couch when Mingjue gets home but doesn’t get up, as usual. He always assumed she preferred staying by Xichen’s side receiving pets and cuddles to making all the effort of getting up and coming to greet him when he got home, so he is a little hurt that, even with Xichen being nowhere to be seen today, she still stays put.

“Xichen?” he calls as he sets down his things and enters the house properly.

“In here!!” comes the cheery call from the kitchen, and Mingjue immediately knows something is off.

Apologies for being so absent, I haven't abandoned this blog!
