- Aventurine is all about excellent performance and grandiosity, the difference is when it comes to you, he can't help but to feel utterly nervous.

- And with that in mind, Aventurine opts to propose in his somewhat vulnerable state. He won't do it inside his house because if you were to reject him, he will be dreaded to come back home because it reminds him of the day he lost you. He has been through a lot and he can't help but to think of the worst possibility available. So as a safe option, he would propose somewhere else but he makes sure to find a memorable spot. Perhaps a secluded space near the edge of a cliff with a nice view of the sky sprinkled with stars above is a perfect place to do it.
Aventurine just came back from his daily work. You greeted him like usual, you told him that dinner is ready and you've prepared him some warm bath. He went on with his routine, although his mind is a mess as he's very much nervous to execute his plan. After he's done with dinner, the blond asked you to come out with him.
You didn't suspect anything from him as he usually does like night rides. When he drives the both of you to a certain spot, you were still very much oblivious to his intention. He choose a comfortable spot and you're yapping at him how the stars are so pretty tonight. He waits until you're content with your rambling and he can't help but to fiddle with the tip of his shirt. The both of you are wearing your comfortable clothes and this is just as he planned.
Right when you stood up to go back to the car, instead of following your movement Aventurine kneels in front of you with a small velvet box with a simple golden ring opened to your direction.
“I've been meaning to ask you…” You can hear his voice shake as he proposed to you, he carefully spelt your name and tried his best to not crack.
