#Two times Louis' facial expressions defy his words and give away what he's truly feeling about the thought of losing Lestat forever. #In the first instance Louis constantly has his head down and is avoiding eye contact with Lestat. But the second he mentions leaving his life forever he suddenly locks eyes with him, even Claudia notices as you see her sharply move her gaze from Louis to Lestat because she knows that sentence would get to him and make him react. #The second moment is the knock out punch from Daniel ripping his story to shreds and exposing his supposed murder for what it was a twisted act of love. You see Louis react with disbelief and scoff at the very notion of it and try to counteract the accusation but he becomes anxious and nervous the more Daniel digs, admitting he couldn't bear to burn him along with the flash of memory of him holding Lestat's body telling a different story.

Faith in The Future bonus tracks and deluxe CDs - the whole tracklist

I seem to have confused people with my tags in the Target exclusive CD post.

Target has 18 songs, 2 more than the deluxe CD and 4 more than the standard CD.

The standard Faith in The Future CD tracklist is this:

Then the deluxe CD and vinyl (sold out for now) on Louis' store have all of the above plus these 2 additional songs:

So 16 songs.

The Target exclusive CD has all of the above songs, plus 2 bonus songs:

So 18 songs.

Then the Bigger Than Me single CD comes with a bonus track:

So that's a total of 19 songs so far.

I'm not sure of other CDs/vinyls that have the bonus tracks other than the ones above. The HMV (UK only) CD was said to have 18 tracks, but looking at their listing now it has 14 songs, so it's a standard CD.

If you know of other exclusive variations with 16 and 18 songs, then let me know and I'll update this list.

currently obsessing over the fact that we could’ve just seen tk’s character in season 1 start off as being this charming but flighty guy who’s afraid of intimacy and is superficial and obviously has some demons in his past. just the Very Typical “guy who’s emotionally unavailable and afraid of commitment and has to be chased” and have carlos be the one chasing and being more affectionate and visibly trying and seeming like he’s the only one putting effort into their relationship. that would’ve been fine and and they do start off as that, but i can’t get over the fact that the actual first time we see tk, it’s him not as this guarded person with a closed off heart. it’s him fully with his heart on his sleeve, laying it all on the line. saying, painfully hopeful, “big swings, just like you said.” we see glimpses of someone who is inherently a romantic and goes for big gestures of love and believes in soulmates and gets attached and loves deeply but it’s all like. for the wrong reasons (desperation) and the wrong place and the wrong person. but i love how we get to see this huge potential and these glimpses of tk as someone who does love whole-heartedly before his walls went up and before his relationship with carlos, and i love how that side of him blooms and flourishes as he opens up and now it’s like. such an intrinsic part of his attitude and character that it’s hard to imagine him not looking at carlos with the most lovesick, dopey, bleeding heart expression ever and giving romantic speeches in bed and saying, “every moment we’re not married is a wasted moment. and baby, we only get so many.” and i just. something something his arc starting and ending with a big, romantic gesture but with a completely different tone and ending is special to me. it feels full circle for his character development and just makes so much sense writing-wise and gives him so much depth. i love it.
