my biggest pet peeve is when people claim to love older men but actually only find them attractive when they were twenty… like if you don’t want to fuck them now at eighty then you aren’t truly one of us
So smooth
@antisocialgaycat @crafooshy @boywithabeanie @quackethh @chronically--offline teach your cats to do this pls.............

Gonna add on to this, if that's ok, because I think a lot of people don't know how to categorize their work:
You don't have to be a professional (ie get paid) to be any of these things. You can claim the title without making any claims to the quality of your work. It's ok.
This is a great post, but I think it's important to highlight why it's a good idea to move away from "content creator" as a self-identifier. Be specific. Defining your niche and line of work not only helps you find resources and communities, it helps you find ways to further your career or studies if you need to figure out what you want to do.
Some of the streamers I watch call themselves content creators when they are genuinely entertainers, performers, hosts, etc. They are professional personalities, which requires know-how and skill when it comes to managing and catering to an audience. Even commentators are skilled. "Do it for content" is a silly thing to say. "Do it for the bit" is way more fun and accurate.

“if you’re working a full time job you should be able to afford to live on your own and have access to food and transportation” gonna be real with you brother. everyone deserves this. Not just people working 40 hrs a week
people inherently deserve to have a roof over their heads and to eat and live comfortably. not tied to whatever work they do or do not do. Shocking, i know
Your fifth most recent emoji is what your soulmate thinks about you
Fanfic writers are like crows. If you give them treats (comments) they will bring you shiny things (fanfic)
Fanfic creators are like cows, some people think you can just milk them for content, but actually they need enrichment (comments) and a nice pasture to graze on (kudos/likes) and they secretly also like cuddles (asks about their fic/art)
The hard truth about autism acceptance that a lot of people don't want to hear is that autism acceptance also inherently requires acceptance of people who are just weird.
And yes, I mean Those TM people. Middle schoolers who growl and bark and naruto run in the halls. Thirtysomethings who live with their parents. Furries. Fourteen-year-olds who identify as stargender and use neopronouns. Picky eaters. Adults in fandoms. People who talk weird. People who dress weird.
Because autistic people shouldn't have to disclose a medical diagnosis to you to avoid being mocked and ostracized for stuff that, at absolute worst, is annoying. Ruthlessly deriding people for this stuff then tacking on a "oh, but it's okay if they're autistic" does absolutely nothing to help autistic people! Especially when undiagnosed autistic people exist.
Like it or not, if you want to be an ally to autistic people, you're going to have to take the L and leave eccentric, weird people alone. Even if you don't know them to be autistic. You shouldn't be looking for Acceptable Reasons to be mean to people in the first place. Being respectful should be the default.
as a 27yo who lives with a NT (damaging) parent, Aro-Ace, who can't eat foods with different textures, adult who loves shows for kids, goth & alternative...
Damn, I fucking wish.
