trying to find good lore friendly custom clothing for skyrim
things i’ll not call you a whore for:
- sexual activity
- how you dress
things i’ll call you a whore for:
- stealing my food
- stealing my lemons
- my cat likes you more than me
why are lemons separate from food op?
everyone knows lemons arent food
lemon stealing whores are a huge issue separate from food stealing whores. there’s a whole documentary about whores stealing lemons from the trees of unsuspecting victims. you can see the first two minutes of it here.

when doctors ask if i have any history of cancer in my family and i have to say that yes my grandmother had 2 types of gastrointestinal cancer and they're like oh wow okay so we'll keep an eye out for that but i'm like no it was probably just all the nuclear radiation and they're like ok hm ok what the fuck do you mean and it's very weird seeing the look on american doctors' faces when you have to explain to them that believe it or not atomic bombs were dropped on this earth 2 generations ago and it did have consequences
we need another bidoof’s law to refer to the phenomenon where someone says some rude stupid shit in the reblogs of your post and you go to their blog and all their posts are about nature loving you and being kind to each other and cute illustrations about friendship etc. the cognitive dissonance
Even Biden supporters want this motherfucker gone like what are we doing here?

On related note, a few years ago, the Entomological Society of America officially discontinued the use of "gypsy moth" and "gyspy ant" as common names for Lymantria dispar and Aphaenogaster araneoides. L. Dispar is now known as the "spongy moth," so named for the appearance of their eggs, but I don't think a new common name has caught on for the ant species yet.
These changes we brought about, in large part, by the advocacy of Romani people in academia. You might not think that bug names are a very serious issue, but I believe that language matters. These species became known as "gypsies" because their attributes were likened to certain stereotypes and negative perceptions of actual Roma, so the continued use of those names reaffirmed those negative associations in the public consciousness. Slurs and pejoratives can never be truly decontexualized.
In my mind, one of the biggest obstacles that Romani people face when we are trying to advocate for ourselves is a lack of recognition as a marginalized group that deserves the necessary consideration. Even for seemingly trivial matters, like bugs or comic book characters, the way that people talk about us-- and talk down to us, when we get involved-- is telling. So, I always think that changes like this are a win, because it means that people are willing to learn and grant us the dignity we deserve. And there's nothing wrong with wanting to effect change in your own field, even arts and science.
1/2 I've been asking Covid cautious community members why they are masking in 2024? These are just some of the answers. All answers are anonymous for privacy reasons and some have been edited for clarity/spacing reasons. It's never too late to start wearing a respirator regularly if you aren't doing so now. Why do you mask?
Image Description-
Slide 1: A hot pink background with a spray of red glitter. Four N95 respirators line the bottom edge. A speech bubble is coming from one. Text reads, “Because a better future is not one where we freely transmit harmful diseases... I want to make our community accessible for everyone.”
Slide 2: Same background. Text reads, “...because there are a million reasons why getting Covid harms people’s bodies and lives. I care about my communities and friends and family and neighbors and even strangers at the grocery store.”
Slide 3: Same background. Text reads, “I mask because it’s so much easier to mask than to get even a mild illness. It’s certainly a million times easier to mask than to live with a disability or chronic illness.”
i just heard the phrase “if you wouldn’t trust their advice, don’t trust their criticism” for the first time and i don’t think i’ve ever needed to hear anything more
