The zine is available for download!

Thanks everyone for your patience while we completed our PDF version. It’s now available for download HERE. Please grab a copy, and be sure to support our hardworking contributors! They put a lot of love into these pieces, and we hope you will all be able to appreciate and enjoy them.

Let us know if there are issues with the download!

Now that the zine is released, this blog will no longer be active. It will be left up for posterity’s sake, but no one will be checking messages and ask/submit will be closed. If you need to contact either of us, please do so using the methods outlined in our about/FAQ sections. Thank you all again for your support!

ETA: we goofed! Our beautiful covers were designed by Tenebroski on Twitter, not by BlackEyedDove! We apologize for the inaccuracy!!

Here’s my full Casca piece I did for @berserkfamilyzine which unfortunately cancelled but eveyrone involved was wonderful to work with and all had amazing pieces so keep an eye out when the PDF releases!! 💖⚔️💖

Here is my art piece and 2 stickers I made for the unfortunately cancelled @berserkfamilyzine. I’ve never done a fully painted piece before and so I wanted to experiment and push myself to do that, I think that it could be better but for a first time it’s okay- and it was really fun to do! So I may do more painted pieces in the future 

Everyone on the project had a lot of stellar pieces and merch, so look forward to the free pdf release!

im now allowed to show off my piece for the @berserkfamilyzine , which we are unfortunately not going to get to print!!

Regardless, i’m so happy i joined on with this project, as it’s the first thing in a long while that pushed me to hold a standard of quality with myself. Though this piece is from July I can still say I’m happy with it, and that feels great!!

I’m hoping to get our digital pdf with merch files finished around new years, so keep an eye out for that!! 💖

Unfortunately the @berserkfamilyzine didn’t get enough orders to be printed, but at least I can show you all the full piece I did! I had a ton of fun painting it and have no regrets contributing to the project. Keep an eye out for the PDF when that comes out, it’s gonna look so fantastic <3

Additionally, we unfortunately will not be able to follow through on our giveaway, and we apologize most sincerely for that as well. Good news is that you all will have equal access to the digital version of all the content the winner would have gotten! We know that’s not equal recompense, but we hope you’ll enjoy the PDF when it’s released all the same.

We’re so excited to bring you this zine – a 40+ page fanbook dedicated to the protagonists of Berserk and their relationships, their found family. This book is thanks to the combined efforts of 35 artists and 2 writers! (View our contributor list HERE.)

All proceeds, after printing and shipping costs, will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, a charity dedicated to providing medical care worldwide to those who otherwise would be unable to access it. Help us support a good cause and enjoy some gorgeous Berserk fanart and writing!

Follow the steps below and you’ll be eligible to receive a free copy of No Longer Just You, a Berserk found family zine, and all its associated merch items!

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Be following us on Tumblr (@berserkfamilyzine) or Twitter (@Berserk_Zine)
  2. Reblog/retweet and like this post (only once per platform, multiples don’t increase your chances)

MORE INFO:

  • No giveaway blogs, please. You’ll be disqualified!
  • If you’re chosen as the winner and you’ve also purchased a physical copy of the zine, provide proof of purchase and you’ll be reimbursed for your purchase and any items you didn’t buy will be included in your package (so if you bought the Dragonslayer bundle, which only includes some merch, you’ll be reimbursed and the rest of the merch will be included!) The PDF isn’t included in this offer, so if you purchased our PDF-only option, you won’t be reimbursed for that.
  • If you’re in the United States, your shipping is covered. If you live elsewhere, we will split the shipping cost with you! (International shipping can get quite expensive, we apologize for this.)
  • The winner will be contacted via Tumblr or Twitter DM upon closing of the giveaway. If you don’t respond within 72 hours, we will choose a new winner.

When will the winner of the giveaway be announced?

Please refer to the giveaway information post -- the same day preorders close, December 29th 2018, is the day the winner will be contacted. They have 72 hours max to respond before we choose a new winner and contact them. Once the winner responds, that will be announced!

Seeing as there’s been some concern about Tumblr possibly deleting blogs or the site itself shutting down (we’ve no idea how founded these concerns are, just that they’re there), we’d like to take the opportunity to remind you all that you can also follow along with our progress on Twitter! Our username there is @Berserk_Zine, and you get all the same content there that you do here, including reminders about our preorder and giveaway posts and previews of the fabulous artwork inside our zine!
