Lance heard Hunk calling his name from down the hall. What on Earth? Lance doubled checked that the Corredev was out of sight before opening his door. Hunk skidded to a stop in front of Lance’s door with a grin fit to split his face.

I sometimes get messages about my fics and see other authors get messages like “oh my god im sorry to bother you but-” or apologizing profusely for sending multiple asks.
I promise you guys. Absolutely 0 writers are bothered by you talking to them about their fics. If you want to know a detail or are confused about something they are almost definitely sitting ready with an answer that they are excited to talk about.
Don’t feel like you HAVE to message writers (tho if you liked a fic a lot leaving comments is great encouragement) but never apologize for asking about fics or talking about them!
I have never had anyone ask me about my fics on tumblr but it would make my day if someone did.
So feel free!

I absolutely /love/ hearing from readers! It’s not annoying, it’s not invasive - it’s a /huge/ compliment to hear that someone has a question about the fic! One of my all time favorite moments ever was when a reader asked me who I imagined the voice actor for an OC might be - I completely fangirled out in joy. :-)
so right now i’ve got a very minor hand injury but it makes typing much slower and also painful so the next installment of crossed the stars isn’t going to come out for a bit
