The reason I put periods after my spoiler tags:
In Volume 7, whenever I posted in the ‘rwby v7 spoilers’ tag, I would constantly get swarmed with personals and it clogged up my notes something awful.
So now, I’ve taken to putting a period after them when I make original posts-it doesn’t apply on reblogs so those are just the normal ‘rwby 8′ and ‘rwby volume 8 spoilers’.
But my personalized spoiler tags are as follows

“Much better now that you’re here.” Tucking the hairs behind his ears, she gently pokes his nose. “Nap time already?”
Ren wrinkles his nose playfully when she spokes it. “You should know by now that I’m always up for a nap no matter what time it is.” He said affectionately.
“Someone called asking about the door code and I said “hashtag” instead of “pound.” Ugh. I feel so dirty. Been hanging around you kids for too long.”
Ren couldn’t help the smile that came to his face at Qrow’s words. “I’d apologize, but something tells me you don’t actually mind hanging out with us too much.”
“If you did, I suspect that you would be long gone by now.”

“Honestly, I’m a pretty easy guy. Like I’m always trying to be not step on anyone’s toes ya know? Especially when I want em comfortable. So if I ever do anything that makes you uncomfortable Ren, just let me know.”
Ren nodded. “That doesn’t surprise me to hear at all.” He said. There had to be a reason that even Blake was comfortable around him, and now Ren could see why. “Don’t worry, I will. But right now you’re fine.”
The blond would be all smiles at hearing that. “Well, good. Otherwise I would have probably gone mad.” He joked as he’d then lean into add. “It’s okay. If you weren’t into kissing, I’d be cool with it too.”
Ren was glad that Sun had clarified that he was just joking. He was pretty sure that had been the case even without the elaboration, but he still wasn’t great at detecting sarcasm so the confirmation was always nice. “Good to know.” He said, nestling close to Sun once more.
“Eh? So you’re not interested in sex? No worries dude. It isn’t for everyone. Thanks for letting me know. I mean, I’m okay with that.” Sun stated as he’d then add. “I still owe ya a kiss though.”
Ren exhaled softly when Sun said it was no big deal. He didn’t know why he had been expecting Sun to react negatively, however. That wasn’t who Sun was as a person. “Well, luckily for you, kisses are most certainly not off the table.”
“Mmm not exactly sure honestly. "Walking is pretty nice. I mean it’s a nice night out so I’m not complaining. Could always call it and head back and get some privacy ya know?”
Ren considered this. “If we’re going to date, I should let you know upfront that sex is not a priority for me.” He said softly. “I don’t feel that kind of attraction. I never have. I’m not opposed to any of the romantic stuff, though.”
“Ah no worries.” The blond remarked before he simply nodded his head. “Sure. I don’t see why not.” He began to say. “Besides it’s a pretty lovely night.” Sun stated as he’d then begin to walk with Ren.
Ren walked along with him, wondering if he had made the right choice. “Was there something else you wanted to do, Sun?” He asked seriously. “We can do that instead of just walking around, if you want.”
“Yeah? Me too. Gives us a connection ya know?” The blond would say as he’d then add. “Mmm I like seeing you smile Ren.” He says before he would then simply inch closer. “What else do you want to talk about?”
Ren considered this question. What did he want to talk about? “I can’t think of anything at the moment.” He admitted. “So should we just walk and see where the night takes us?”
“Mmm.” The blond would say as he’d then turn to Ren as he’d reached out for his hand and gave it a squeeze. “Sorry to hear.” He’d say as he’d then continue. “Guess we’re both similar in a way huh?”
“Guess so.” Ren agreed. They couldn’t help being slightly relieved that Sun didn’t question it further. It wasn’t as if they had anything to hide, and they wouldn’t conceal information about it if he asked. But it was nice. “That’s not a bad thing, though. I like being similar to you.”
“I spent a couple years here. Honestly, I’ve mostly been going from place to place. It wasn’t exactly the most appealing thing to do but I had to do it, otherwise I wouldn’t be here today ya know?” Sun stated as the blond would then add. “And yeah. I was born here.” He says as the blond grinned. “Mostly moved because I was causing too much trouble ya know?”
Ren sort of understood that, because after Kuroyuri was destroyed, he’d spent most of his life up until he got accepted into Beacon doing exactly that, too. “I understand that.” He said seriously as they walked along. “When I was a child, I lost my village and my parents, and spent the next several years roaming from place to place with Nora, trying to find somewhere to stay on a more permanent basis.”
Subtle signs of various emotions flicker through his face too fast to read, until something warm and gentle settles in his expression.
“I am honoured, Mr Lie.” He says honestly. “I’m afraid I didn’t have the pleasure to meet him. Would you mind telling me about him?”
“Ren.” He corrected softly. “Only my parents called me Lie.” He had been uncertain whether to correct the General or not, because after so many years it was slightly easier to hear than it used to be. But he felt he owed it to them to do so.
“Well, my father, he hunted for the village we lived in. Regular game, not Grimm.” He explained softly. “He seemed very serious, and he could be, but I saw a much softer side of him more often than anyone else in the village except for my mother, whom he loved with all his heart.”
“Absolutely! I wouldn’t mind that. Get a chance to talk and everything.” The blond would remark as he’d then begin to walk with Ren. “So whatcha want to know about me? Ask away and I’ll tell you all my secrets.”
Ren considered the question. “So, how much time did you spend here in Vacuo before you transferred to Haven?” He asked. “Because you were born here, right?” That was fascinating to him. Granted, he had been born in Mistral and gone to Vale, so it wasn’t completely out of the ordinary.
“Mmmm how bout we go for a walk then.” Sun suggests. “It’s pretty nice out and it’ll do us some good ya know?” Sun mused as he’d then slipped his arm around Ren as he’d pull him closer.
Ren nodded. “That sounds good to me.” He said, and he meant it. “Not to mention we can get to know each other better as well.” That was always a bonus in his eyes, since he really didn’t know all that much about Sun. And if they were going to keep seeing each other, he definitely didn’t want that to be the case for however long their relationship lasted.
“Could go dancing?” Sun suggested. “Could go and take a walk. Enjoy the cool air. Could head back. Maybe go cuddle up and just ya know, spend some alone time together.” The blond would suggest before he would then grin bright.
That was a lot of different options for them to pick between, and Ren couldn’t decide which option he liked more. They all had their merits, that much he knew for sure. “I’m not ready to head back yet.” He admitted, tucking himself closer to Sun solely because he liked the warmth.
The blond himself would continue to eat. By the time that he’d eaten his portion, Sun would then set the empty dish aside as he’d ask Ren if he was all set. “You good to get on out of here?” He inquired before adding. “Still need to go do other things together.”
Ren nodded when Sun asked if he was good to get out of there. “I’m ready.” He said, putting some lien on the table for their meal before getting up out of his chair. He turned to Sun. “Okay, so, what’s next for our night together?” He asked, trying to ignore the way his heart was pounding in his chest.
