I made a lil sideblog @4xlee to be annoying over there and keep my main more clean since I don't come around to posting much art anymore 😔

So... one of the reasons why they wanted to recruit a burglar for their company was that they were 13, which is the unlucky number. So Bilbo became their "lucky charm" by being the 14th member (this is repeatedly brought up in the book). After the whole Arkenstone thing where Thorin kicked him out of the company – and they were 13 again – things went south; the war (that was inevitable at that point tho, at leats against the Orks), Fili, Kili and Thorin dying... Bilbo however still had his luck (surviving the battle) but the company crumbled once he wasn't officially a part of them anymore...

I just wonder if Tolkien intended for it to be linked or if it was just a coincidence...

Nowadays it is, yes! I used to also have insta and twitter but I really didn't vibe with either of them...

#sometimes i still get tempted with twitter but i also always felt trapped in a corner there idk...#but insta is just eh for me#2xask#(but thank you so so much again!!!)
