A/N: The second cocktail I wrote for the tipsy drabbles! Also pleasing my current iKon obsession with this!! Please enjoy this and tell me what you think!

Donghyuk tapped the steering wheel, humming along to the radio as he stared through the windshield screen.

Once a month he grabbed you and drove with you away from the bustling city. Even if it was just for one day - sometimes even just an afternoon - both of you needed that time to come back to your roots.

Roots that weren’t quite usual in the human world. 

You tilted your head to the side and watched Donghyuk with a soft smile on your lips. His fox ears already popped out without him noticing it. They flicked in excitement the closer you got to the forest. You reached a hand over to them, brushing over the velvety fur of his ears.

Donghyuk laughed quietly and glanced over to your side. “Fox’s out of the bag, huh?” His ears flicked again underneath your touch. 

You giggled and slightly turned on your seat, revealing your own fox tail. “Guess so.”

Donghyuk reached over to you, gently squeezing your thighs. “We’ll be there soon.” He intertwined fingers with yours, grinning when you started to play with them.

“I know”, you mumbled as you continued to caress his hand, “I just can’t wait to turn fully again.” You looked up at him, seeing him nod along.

In the city neither of you could just turn or even reveal parts of your foxes without fearing to become objects for science. Even at your shared apartment you rarely let parts of your foxes show - too concerned someone could see anything through the windows.

But outside in the mountains or forests, far away from major human gathering spots, you could be free. 

Donghyuk parked the car at the start point of a hiking trail. He rushed around the vehicle and opened your door, making an overly inviting gesture.

You giggled and stepped out of the car as well, stretching your limps and letting your tail sway behind you. “Are you ready?” You looked around the area one last time, making sure no human was already there in the early hours of the day.

With a sly grin Donghyuk stepped closer to you and cupped your face. He kissed you softly, making you melt into him. “Let us race to the top”, he whispered against your lips, “loser has to buy fried chicken tonight.”

Before you could even respond to him, he had already transformed into a fox. He yipped at you and then dashed into the forest, leaving you behind. You giggled and shook your head in amusement. With one last roll of your shoulders you transformed yourself and chased after him.

Damn the weather

A/N: One of the two things I wrote for the last tipsy drabble! Enjoy this drabble and tell me what you think!

“Are you sure it’s not going to rain?” Hwasa sat on the picnic blanket with a wine glass in her hand and looked up into the darkening sky.

You followed her gaze. The sun slowly set at the horizon, turning the sky into various shades of red and yellow. At the same time a bunch of dark storm clouds gathered in front of it, making it even darker by the minute than usual.

“The weather forecast said it wouldn’t rain until tomorrow. So we should be safe for now.” You chuckled softly when she raised one of her eyebrows, not convinced with your explanation. “I’m sure we won’t get drowned during our time out here!”

“If you say so”, was the only thing Hwasa replied, a smirk playing over her lips before she raised her glass to her lips and took a sip.

You two continued to talk about everything and nothing, simply enjoying the company of each other. For moments you’d even be completely silent and just watch the nature surrounding you. It felt almost serene with the crickets and birds chirping all around you.

That was until the first droplet of water hit your nose. Your eyes widened and you sat up a little straighter as your gaze wandered to the dark clouds above of you again.

Hwasa jumped slightly when a raindrop hit her naked thigh. She pulled her legs closer to her body and turned to look at you pointedly.

“It’s probably just a few drops, nothing more.” You mumbled while you kept staring into the sky. With the clouds above you, you didn’t feel as confident about it anymore. 

“Are you sure?” Hwasa changed her sitting position, appearing to be ready to jump up at any second.

You laughed awkwardly and shrugged with your shoulders. “Not really.”

Apparently that was enough for the weather to decide on pouring down on you two. 

You cursed as you sat stunned on the blanket, quickly getting soaked by the rain. Hwasa jumped up with a screech, standing evenly as overwhelmed in front of you now.

It took you two another few heartbeats before you started gathering everything, holding it clumsily to your bodies while you ran for your car at the end of the park.

As soon as you reached it, you opened the trunk and seeked shelter underneath it, throwing the stuff inside and turning to each other.

You eyes her drenched form before you burst out laughing. “Damn the weather”, you wheezed and held your stomach, finding this situation hilarious.

Hwasa glared at you without any malice behind her eyes and soon enough she laughed just as much as you did, doubling over from the force. She even repeated your words: “Damn the weather.”

You heard the banging on the door clearly through your now empty apartment. Tears streamed down your cheeks while you sat between a bunch of moving boxes.

The banging continued and you even heard the dull pleas from Dojoon on the other side of the door. 

He kept pounding against it for the past twenty minutes already but you couldn’t bring yourself to get back to the door again after you shut it prior.

Y/n freezes when the glass slips out of her hand, breath caught in her throat as shockwaves of pain go up the lower part of her back. There’s broken glass on the floor, water everywhere and period-induced agony; it’s overwhelming. Unable to bring herself to move even a step, y/n’s rooted to the spot, tears very quickly burning her eyes.

“Baby?” Jisung calls out, and y/n feels the drip of tears on her cheek, unable to call out to her boyfriend, “is everything okay? Did something break?”

The resulting silence consumes Jisung, compelling him to untangle himself from the blanket fort and wonder into the kitchen. Worries chip away at him during the short distance from the living room and the kitchen, and Jisung’s heart drops when he sees y/n. Standing with glass at her feet.

He sees the tears, and more or less leaps into action.

“Lift your foot for me?” He asks, brushing what he can into the dustpan and checking for any cuts. There aren’t any, and relief ultimately washes into his chest. He dries the water off of the floor, drops the cloth in the sink and offers to help y/n walk into the living room to continue their movie night.

Y/n melts into her boyfriend’s arms, basking in his embrace. The pain’s still there, and y/n allows herself to be waddled into the living room, bundling under the blanket fort, and pulling the nearest cushion flush against her abdomen. Jisung returns a few moments later, hot water bottle in one hand, painkillers, and a glass water in the other. Her saviour.

“Delivery for my favourite person ever?”

“Han Jisung you’re a godsend.” She downs the painkillers, replacing the cushion with the hot water bottle. The relief is immediate, and y/n plants several appreciative kisses onto Jisung’s face.

“Thank you baby, and, you know, about the glass—”

“Don’t worry about it~ it’s just one glass, we can replace it, but” Jisung shuffles in closer, bringing his face right up to y/n’s ear. “A few more kisses would be perfect, you know?”

Y/n rolls her eyes, fond.

“C’mere you.”

It took you almost three hours to fall asleep.

You felt all giddy and excited for the morning to come, so much so that you woke up before your alarm without a complaint. Everything just felt so much simpler and brighter. You didn’t groan when the morning light peeked through the little slits between your blinds. You didn’t hesitate to push the white duvet from your body. And you practically skipped to the kitchen where Namjoon danced to his own rhythm as he prepared what seemed to be kimchi eggs.

Chan knew that your hands were smaller ever since the first time he held them, but it wasn't something he actively paid attention to until he saw you in one of his hoodies. You had come to visit him at the studio and the first thing he noticed was your sweater paws. The fabric easily went past your fingers and made you look even smaller than before. Chan couldn't help himself from trapping one of your hands between his own, pushing the sleeve back so he could play with your fingers and admire how small and delicate your hands really were. Needless to say he didn't let go of your hand for the rest of the night, saying it was motivation for him to finish his work.

A/N: I wrote this obviously with the actual song in mind but whatever song you find fits will work!

            The steady tempo of music sang beautifully across the ballroom. The plucked strings of the cello harmonized stunningly with the pulled threads of the violin, mixing in time with the keys of the piano. Classical tunes fit for dancing amongst the wealthy who had the luxury of spending their nights in such a setting.

            It was foolish.

            While the music calmed you, it also set you on edge. You stood off to the side, arms folded delicately over your chest. A grumble left your lips when you felt an itch on your scalp, and every ounce of willpower in you was needed to not scratch at it and ruin your pinned up hair. Your mother would never let you hear the end of it.

            You could see her across the room with your father. The masks they wore to fit the theme of the party did little to hide their identities. The dress she wore practically glowed with how pricey it was, and mask your father donned was gaudy like a peacock’s tail. They were speaking to what seemed to be a young man, perhaps a pleasant conversation. By the way they smiled and laughed with the unknown individual, things seemed to be in good favor.

            Another suitor.
