I N K T O B E R  2017                               ↳ DAY 3 ── Worried

I’ve had a had a head cold and have been trying to finish this while volunteering and since after. Ugh. Sorry. Got it out on time though!! I decided to use this as an excuse to work on Ferrah’s BotW verse design. Heading out on a journey with dangers she can’t possibly expect while leaving the safety and comfort of home.

      “ Are you─?? You ARE !! Honestly, I can not believe you could fall asleep like that in the middle of me talking about our plans. ” Zelda let out a soft sigh, glancing over at the Hylian hero. She wasn’t all too surprised, however. How exhausted he must be, after all, he was practically brought back to life and not even given a chance to adjust before being thrown into all of this. ──He did also just finish battling the Calamity Ganon too… It would only be natural he would be tired. 
THE princess sat herself down next to him, allowing herself to lean back onto the tree trunk. Gaze was slowly cast up at the clear blue sky, as if it was hard to believe such a sight still existed after all this time of fighting. “ I suppose a rest is in order… I am rather tired myself. ”

For months Link had been running off a mix of adrenaline, confusion, and a sense of urgency for something he initially didn’t even remember. Of course throughout the past several months, he did regain most of his memory, which led to him suppressing the emotions attached to them so he could focus on the task at hand. Whatever was fueling Link was bound to run out eventually, especially after the intense fight he just went through against Calamity Ganon. It was no wonder that he’d started drifting off even as Zelda was going over what they were going to do next.

Link actually jumped slightly as her indignant tone cut through the sleepy daze he’d been in. When had he closed his eyes? Wait, when had he even sat down in the first place? Link watched as Zelda moved to sit next to him, vaguely wondering how she was even still awake. Link was exhausted, sure, but he at least had a century of sleep recovering from fatal injuries. Zelda had spent that entire century keeping Calamity Ganon contained. If anything, he would have expected Zelda to fall into sheer exhaustion before he did. As Zelda spoke again, Link let his head rest back against the tree and closed his eyes with a sigh. “Sorry ‘bout that. Didn’t mean to fall asleep on on you.”

So like I said, i’m using this as an excuse to draw my lovely Ferrah again. I haven’t drawn in such a long time so what a great opportunity to get practice again !! Hopefully I can keep up on all of these despite how busy my October is! Especially since the 11th is my birthday!

               CONFLICT.  It seemed nearly a routine at this point ( oh the frustrations that came with thoughts that flitted through her mind ).  The gleam of VICIOUS, RUTHLESS blades were vivid in her memory and her blood ran cold at the very thought of them covered in her crimson.  How close they were to tearing her apart and so certain was she of her death ( how cruel and bitter the taste was upon her tongue ).  If it was not for her knight—— who she degraded, neglected, SCORNED!
               She would not be here if it had not been for him.
               Her apologies had spilled from her lips in a forceful stream—— words stumbling over one another and regret SEIZING her still beating heart.  Yet her apologies seemed inefficient and still the guilt of her previous treatment of Link consumed her very thoughts.  To think he still carried on ever dutiful…she ASPIRED to be liked him.
               His exhaustion was not unnoticed though and viridian hues gazed upon her knight, lips turning down into a small frown.  Endless rambles finally came to a HALT in attention to him and thick brows furrowed in her worry.
              ❝ Link—— You’re exhausted.  There’s no need to be neglectful of your health simply…because of the attack that happened. ❞ Even recalling the blades of the Yiga tensed her fingers and halted her breath.  ❝ We should rest.  You especially. ❞

While the apologies were appreciated, Link was already too exhausted to focus on what was being said. For a while now, he wanted to stop Zelda, to tell her that he understood why she behaved the way she did. It was all clear to him, especially after the conversations he’d had with Daruk and Urbosa.  However, any attempt for him to speak was met with the realization that he had no idea how to actually talk to her. So the conversation continued until his exhaustion made it clear he wasn’t really focused on anything at all. It actually took a moment for Link to fully realize that Zelda had paused to focus on his physical state.

Link shook his head in response to her, closing his eyes a few moments longer than necessary as sleep tugged at his consciousness. Finally forcing his eyes back open again, he frowned slightly as he spent several moments making an attempt to speak. There was a tightness in his chest that he couldn’t push past however, and that attempt went no further than a sigh as his gaze finally shifted away from Zelda. Link shook his head again to reiterate his point, and took a deeper breath. Then, he finally spoke what was perhaps the first thing he’d ever said to Zelda, wincing slightly at how hoarse his own voice sounded.

We recently remade our LOZ server with some AMAZING people and we’re looking for people interested in joining! In our server, you’ll have resident Cheru to just pose pretty for everyone and go mad with her mod power, friends to geek out with, resident Wasabi to out pose Cheru and begin pose battles for best resident mod, and possibly round up to play games with, IC rps so we can throw them into silly scenarios, possibly movie nights and some fun planned out scenarios.

-->> Okay, so I’m at least still alive. Work got way more stressful than I thought it would last month and it’s taken until the end of this month for me to fully wind down from that... well mostly anyway. I do plan on coming back both here and on @crimsonzora but I’m not sure when I’ll find the motivation to do that. Either way, these blogs are probably going to get a fresher start here. If I do vanish for another month or so, work probably ate me.

like as much as i love icons and a good psd, sometimes its just tasking to do. and not everyone has great resources. so if you’re okay with having threads with no icons, please reblog this so that people know you’re okay with it. i feel like roleplayers today are too focused on the aesthetics and won’t follow people who use base icons or even none at all. it’s not about icons, but about the writing !!

Sidon was silent for a moment, surprised that he actually had been correct on Link doing something he wouldn’t want Mipha to know about. Of course, he had no idea what it was, but Link didn’t need to know that. Sidon merely gave a toothy grin. “ That’s right! We need to stand together and fight the power! She can’t rule us! ”

Link gave a nod, a grin forming as he gave a small fist pump. In all honesty, he probably shouldn’t encourage the child like this, but Link was having too much fun to stop. “Right! It’s time we made a stand for ourselves!”

“ This doesn’t involve Mipha. ” He was quick to respond, not qanting Mipha to know he had been teasing the Hylian girl again. He thought her reactions to things were so over the top and extremely amusing, so of course he kept doing it DESPITE MIPHA SCOLDING him. “ If you tell Mipha— I’ll tell her on you! ” Despite him having NOTHING to tell on Link about.

Link raised an eyebrow, trying to contain a laugh. Other than some reckless stunt that Sidon probably didn’t know about, the young Zora didn’t really have anything on him. After a moment though he let out a gasp. “You wouldn’t!” A hand rested on his chest in mock surprise. “Us boys need to stick together you know.”

An amused smile was on Link’s face. After all, the whole thing seemed pretty harmless aside from the other child panicking over the frog still being alive. Still, Link couldn’t stop himself from asking, “Is there something we need to tell your sister?”

Link shook his head in response to the question, letting out a soft hum as he thought about it. The legendary creature on Satori Mountain was something he’d heard about, but Link hadn’t even had a chance to visit the mountain itself.

“There is one way to find out if it’s real though.” Link was always up for an adventure, and he was certain Zelda could use a small break from her duties. It’s not like the mountain was that far from the castle. They could always take a bit of detour while visiting Revali or Urbosa.
