It isn’t too often that they get time to truly relax which makes just being there with Ren all the better. Had Nora been there with her secret snacks and crazy stories it would have been even better but she was spending time with the others and Jaune couldn’t fault her for that. If his emotions were in check he’d probably join the others and their shenanigans but he needs to relax and spending time with Ren was a great way to do that.
There were only a few people Jaune could just happily sit in silence with. Silence made him uneasy and a restless but there was something calming about Ren that he couldn’t quite put his finger on but he wasn’t about to complain. They were still quite a mystery even after all this time they’d spent together but Jaune had figured out quite some time ago that that wasn’t such a bad thing.
Jaune was just grateful they could be quiet like this as he braided Ren’s hair and-
“Oh no.”
As he ran his fingers through Ren’s hair, Jaune’s fingers got caught which caused him to pull their hair and oh did he feel that. That can’t have felt good and lord does he feel bad but at least there isn’t a wad of hair in his hands. He remembers when his sister pulled a little too hard and left him with a little bald patch. Yeah, Jaune’s glad he cut his hair short.
“Ren, I’m so sorry,” Jaune says and it’s clear he means it. “Are you okay?”

1. What makes you the most emotional about your muse?
You know that scene where w.eiss almost dies and j.aune fucking reaches out and screams? I don’t really know if it counts but that.
2. What made you decide to write this muse?
Honestly I just had high muse for Ja.une. I wanted to write him so badly but I couldn’t find any chat.zy’s where I could do that so I made my first blog, remade that, and then remade that into this. I’ve grown a lot since then haha I don’t think I can consider myself to be the same person.
7. If you could “borrow” one aspect of your muse and apply it to yourself or your own life, what would you borrow?
He’s not afraid of staying true to himself whereas I’m very afraid of being myself so I’d definitely steal that, sorry j.aune!
13. What about your muse makes you sad?
He almost has a death wish in fact I’m pretty sure he has a death wish and it makes me sad. He wants to repent for something he never did and I can relate to it in a way that makes me quite sad.
15. Would you like your muse as a person if you met them in real life?
I don’t think I would have liked him v1-2 even though I wrote him way back then haha but I think now I would? He’s almost a foot taller than me and I could definitely use the help getting things from the top shelf haha.

IF WE RP A ‘ROMANTIC’ RELATIONSHIP: I want them to argue. I want them to be sad. I want them to worry. I want there to be tension. Because that’s what a real relationship is. It’s perfectly normal for people to be sad & worried & fight. Them being happy & loving all the time just doesn’t feel right to me. It’s not always gonna be happy, it’s not always gonna be sunshine & rainbows. There’s always gonna be a struggle, because that’s how they’ll grow & they have to solve each problem together.
