oh damn, you have a new album out next month? i've really been living under a rock then. congrats man, that's great stuff. i'll be checking it out as soon as it's out there in the world. fair play then, makes sense that's the place you choice as a wedding location. a friendship of fourteen years leading down the aisle now? gosh, that's one hell of a love story. you're a lucky, lucky man.

It was either that or a different warm place. Warm was just where our mind went with for our wedding plus we couldn't resist doing so in a place we've never visited ourselves. Isn't it? Good thing I didn't chicken out of getting my feelings out there a few years back. I'm just still in awe that I'm even getting married.

It really is. Like no matter how well you are doing, the doubts always come out. I know the fans liked my last one so I can't wait to see what they think about this upcoming one. Thanks! I know my fiancé would tell me it will do well no matter what doubts I'd have. I'm glad we can share the same feeling together. Usually I'm sitting going from being nervous to being okay. It's a back and forth it seems. It does. It was cool seeing one of our members get the chance to headline Lollapalooza one year. I know he was excited he got the chance. I'm hoping one day we'll get to. I wouldn't mind sharing the spotlight with you, it would be fun. Coping in someway helps especially when feeling nerves. They really are. I don't think I could ever be one of those people who can't pick a hobby. I need something to do in my down time. It really is plus i don't mind getting the chance to exercise especially if I have a buddy to go to the gym with. It's nice and both are just apart of my routine especially with all the downtime I have.

Oh that makes sense, I mean cultural awareness I guess tells us music comes in and music goes out and that happens for countries and cultures alike. So my question is do you go back to old style or just continue with the new? That's actually a awesome idea because it's not going to suit your life to bend it to others' wills. That's insane and cool. All at once on that?

Exactly. Each country has something they enjoy music wise as a whole. We either go along with it or break the mold. With one of our last songs we did together, it seemed to fit our older style but we go between the two. We put out whatever we feel since we know the fans will love it no matter what especially if they know we are putting our all into it. Not really all at once. We've all put out solo albums with time in between. I'm actually putting out another solo album later this month which I can't wait till everyone gets to hear.

it's very special to have so many people to keep supporting you through everything and i definitely feel very grateful because of it. wedding in cuba in august? that's a brave choice because of the heat and the humidity, but i bet it's going to be so gorgeous. everyone seems to be getting married now, there must be something in the water. how long have you been with your partner?

It really is. I'm glad we have fans who are always with us no matter what is happening. I made them pretty excited about my new album I'm releasing next month. They'll get to see the side of me I usually hide unless I'm creating music to convey that side. True but we fell in love with the country and knew it would be perfect for our wedding. It seems so! A wedding is happening almost everyday it feels like. We've been together for almost 4 years now but we've known one another for almost 14 years.

I get that feeling honestly. Anytime I release music on my own or with the rest of BTS, I always have doubts about how it will be received. You never know what someone could say but I'm sure your album will so well. I'm releasing an album myself by next month so I'm in the same mindset as you at the moment. You'll do well headlining for sure. I'd love the chance to headline something with my group members when we all come back together next year. Usually I end up focusing my energy on something else like hobbies I know will calm me down. Sometimes I find exercising also helps me feel less nervous. I also like going to more quiet calming areas like art museums or just riding around on my bike to enjoy the weather. Both are very easy ways to bounce off the nerves in my eyes.

It has been, hasn't it? I feel we have with how much is going on in our lives lately. Been doing a lot lately. We are but also releasing our own solo music to explore that side of ourselves before we come back together at some point in 2025. I know the fans are ready to have us all together again. I actually have a second solo album coming out called Right Place, Wrong Person which I hope everyone enjoys. Also been doing a lot of wedding planning as well which I can't wait for the day I get to be married.

if we speak it into the universe enough, it's bound to happen eventually. the opportunity is too good to pass up, personally. besides, i'm always into riling up the fanbases, as nothing's more fun than people's unhinged madness when stuff like this happens. you're getting married?? congratulations, that's exciting news. when's the wedding happening? are you and your partner tying the knot in korea or venturing out of the country for a location wedding?

We should keep doing so. I'd be all for it happening honestly. It really is. I couldn't agree more. I like doing that to our fans and I'm sure if we get this going I might accidentally spoil it which will have the fans riled up for sure. I am! It's happening on the 17th of August. We're tying the knot in Cuba. We wanted to do something outside of our home country and think Cuba is the perfect place for our wedding.

There had only been a few people Yoongi had dated before Namjoon but none had lasted nearly as long as his current relationship. Everything with Namjoon felt right. It was one of the many reasons why marrying him didn't scare him off, though the topic often had years before their relationship. There was also no one else Yoongi confided in as much as he did his fiance, and it was no secret that he often masked his emotions in front of others, but Namjoon was one of the rare few he knew he could be vulnerable around. Even though they weren't officially married yet, he had lost count of how many times he had referred to Namjoon as his husband already. He knew he was more than ready to make it all official. He had also found himself obsessively looking at the days counting down until their wedding. Becoming the Min-Kim household was something that made his heart warm whenever he thought about it. Over the years, Yoongi had gotten a lot better at being romantic and showing small gestures of affection. He never started the day without kissing and hugging his fiance, reminding him that he loved him - and their nights were the same. Yoongi always refused to go to bed upset or angry, and without voicing his love for Namjoon. "I've got a few places in mind to check out, but I'm so excited to get to finally find the place we want to get married at." He mused happily as he turned into the parking lot of the airport. Once they were out, he collected their bags from the back. "Let's get through our least favourite part about travelling, the traffic in the airport," Yoongi said with a small pout as they headed inside. "Do you want me to go buy snacks for the flight?"

Namjoon dated before but those relationships didn't last at all especially the ones he had to try to avoid his feelings for the older. It's better with being able to be with Yoongi like this. No one else would compare in his mind and he's forever glad everything worked out in the end. Besides he already knew he'd never marry anyone but Yoongi. No one felt right in his mind. They knew so much about one another and getting to marry his best friend was a dream he still can't believe is happening. Sure their wedding wasn't for a few more months but that didn't stop him from mentally calling the older his husband. Not that he wouldn't say it out loud since it sounded nice to hear. He was excited to make it all official. His calendar in his office had the numbers crossed off to count down the days. Each day crossed of showed him they were getting closer and made him giddier. He honestly couldn't wait to celebrate the day with their friends and loved ones.

With how long they've been together, Namjoon knows he can never get enough of the affection and romantic gestures that Yoongi does. Plus he tries to do so himself which he knew had taken him a lot of time but he enjoyed being affectionate with the older male. Sure they had disagreements and argued at times but he made sure neither of them went to bed that way. Communication was key in a relationship and he never stopped making sure he kept it going no matter their feelings. "Well, I'm looking forward to seeing them. I am as well, I know it will be perfect." He smiled at the other before turning his gaze to the airport. Here comes the fun part though and he's dreading it in a way. "Hope we can maneuver easily and not be held up too long." Namjoon spoke, letting out a soft sigh. "Please do. Snacks would be nice to have."

That's true which means if I remember the song, I have to mention the artist too so people don't get confused. It's Not Over and Waiting For Superman are ones that keep going back to. I love both the songs a ton.

i hope this means we'll end up collaborating at some point. 1D was the biggest boyband until BTS took over and would just feel right if we did something together. i'm on a little tour break now, before i head back on the road for the rest of the year. no rest for the wicked. being stuck in your own bubble isn't the worst thing, especially since you usually live in a fishbowl and privacy and space aren't a thing. are ya coming to mexico this weekend for aaron and josie's wedding?

I'm hoping so. I know everyone wants that to happen at some point. It would be an experience especially since we are all fans of you guys as well. I'm on a break till next year so I'm trying not to work on anything during this time. That's true but I do like knowing what's going on with others. You aren't wrong there. Surprised I could keep certain things private at all. I didn't have the chance to. Been busy planning things for my own wedding actually.

Shit man I am sorry for that. Do you think you were less discovered cause your music was less mainstream? That is a interesting that people are now maybe asking for the opposite. I mean just goes to show you can not please everyone and like you said block the shit out and do what you do. Solo is a such a brave move man. Look at all you have done, regular modern day Lennon.

It was a lot but we grew past that which I appreciate. I feel that might have been why or due to the fact that in Seoul, they like certain types of music more than others. Yeah, I'm guess those people are the ones that don't like anything that is mainstream. I know not everyone follows that but I see people since mentioning that they miss our old style of music. You really can't and I've learned not to even try. I don't even acknowledge certain comments anymore. We all took a hiatus and decided we wanted to take the chance to produce our own solo music. It's been fun exploring ourselves more. I mean I get it and I appreciate giving it a chance.

I'm excited too. I like drinking with more with someone if I wanna get wasted. Usually only have a beer or two when it's just me. You were good? That's surprising to me but I'm glad you were. You know when you create something and it's not exactly well liked at first, come on we are artists and I feel like we have all been there. But then you give it some time, and you should always give it some time, and things shift. I can tell you my first hand experience of this came with the film I wrote and directed, that new one that was promised to be so horrible after Cannes people walked out. Now it actually has a few good reviews. Yeah imagine that. Not just good reviews but reviews that actually get the feel and plot to the whole thing. That makes you feel good. Ever have anything, a project not be well liked even though it was deeply important to you?

I've felt this a few times especially when my group was starting out. We were barely noticed and I know our songs then weren't getting as much attention. Though even now with us getting so much attention, I've seen some say what we put out now is too much like the mainstream and they want us to release music like we made back then. I've had to ignore those words and just make what I am proud of. I mean even when I made solo music, I still have those doubts and feel anxious that my music won't be liked or the meaning I'm trying to portray will be looked over. At least people give our things a chance and see what we are trying to get across with our works.

Yeah, one more can't hurt and it's been a bit since I've been wasted. I do especially since we gotta make sure everything works out before August gets here. Haha, I mean I listen to so much music that names don't seem to stick compared to the songs. I do have a few favorites of yours though that I've been going back to many times.
