Here are some evacuation fundraisers from today:

They need help to get to Rafah and evacuate so Ghydaa can continue her treatment.

Kareem is an ER surgeon with family members who have worsening medical conditions and can no longer stay in Gaza. They need help to evacuate to Egypt.

Moamin is SO CLOSE to their goal and being able to evacuate their huge family out of Gaza!!

Hassan has eight children in his family, and bed-ridden himself- facing the possibility of having his leg amputated. They are seeking to evacuate Gaza for better health and a more sterile environment.

Sara's family is currently in Gaza, while her ill father made it to Egypt, much of her family is still in Gaza and wants nothing more than to get them out.

Alaa and Ola are both mothers of young children and are looking for support in the way of diapers, formula, passports, visas, etc. They're hope is to leave their home, as much as thay hurts to do.

🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

All of these fundraisers are verified through this Linktree called Funds for Gaza.

GoFundMe's minimum required donation is $5.00 (USD). So if you can afford that, please consider sending some help these folks' way!

Or take a look at the Operation Olive Branch spreadsheet for more verified links to fundraisers to help people evacuate Gaza.

It takes less than five minutes (less if you already have a GoFundMe account) and it helps save peoples lives. So please donate if you can and if you can't at least reblog this!

Just to be crystal clear—Israel is now simultaneously bombing Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

As all of this is transpiring, US asks the ICJ not to call for an immediate end of the occupation. Reasoning? Israel’s “security concerns” need to be taken into consideration, due to the Hamas attack on October 7. As a reminder, the Hamas attack killed 1,139 Israelis—while Israel’s ongoing genocide has killed an estimated 29,000 Palestinians. And the reason it’s “estimated” is because a lot of bodies are still buried under rubble and unaccounted for.

A John Hopkins report estimates that the number of Palestinians dead could surpass 74,000 in the next 6 months.

it’s worth reiterating that Israel is intensifying its attacks in conjunction with an all-time low of aid trucks allowed to enter Gaza. It was reported the other day that this number fell from an average of 133 to an average of 47 throughout February. Only 4 trucks have entered Gaza this Wednesday. If they’re not massacring Palestinians, they’re starving them half to death.

If this isn’t pure evil, I actually don’t know what is.

Please donate to Palestinian families trying to evacuate this bloodbath. And if you can’t, spread this as far as you can. Hundreds of Palestinians are dying every day. At this point it has come to funding them or watching them die.

I saw there are a lot of forest fire in chile right now. are you gonna be okay?

Avatar

Three days after the fact, yeah, I'll be fine, personally and physically, but it's dire, I'm not going to lie. I've never seen so much fire in my life. When you think about a big fire, your impression might be two or three buildings on fire with some firefighter trucks spraying water at it. This was kilometers upon kilometers of raging blazes. Kilometers. Heads up if you are sensitive to these kinds of posts, this isn't a happy one.

Entire hills on fire. Lush green hills reduced to ash and smoke.

Not to mention the urban parts that got hit badly

The official death toll keeps increasing each passing hour as they clear up the rubble and ruins and find more corpses. People I know lost everything. Some people I know lost their loved ones. Dogs are eating corpses on the street because they haven't picked them up yet, so you have neighbors warding off said dogs. Bodies get picked up too badly burned, eaten, decomposed, or a mix thereof to be identified.

It's a tragedy. It all reeks of smoke, there's ash everywhere.

It was sudden, it was brutal. Seeing elderly survivors wondering "what's next for me? I don't have enough years left among the living to rebuild all I lost, all I worked for throughout my life, gone like that" breaks my heart. The government is offering all sorts of aid, but there's also people whose documents, like ID and other identifying documentation, was lost in the fire, so they have to get re-issued an ID before they can actually start filing for aid. The SML (Servicio Médico Legal) is oversaturated with all that's suddenly on their plate and can't return the bodies of people to their families yet, and these are all people that still need food, shelter, hygiene, and so on after the fact. Seeing the logistical nightmare that becomes life after you lose everything firsthand from other people is sobering and painful. Yeah, they survived, but what comes next? It's a sense of uncertainty that is smothering and asphyxiating, it's hopelessness.

I apologize if I come across as dramatic, especially so as someone who was luckily not affected, but it really, really has been heartbreaking to witness, especially from very up close, as I was there, and it's one thing to know of a tragedy that happened elsewhere, maybe even in your own country, but elsewhere, and it's a whole other beast to have seen it directly as it unfolded.

Keep Chile in your thoughts. If you are able to, please consider donating to Desafío Levantemos Chile, to my knowledge the only drive that accepts Paypal, thus, foreign donations, to help the various efforts to rebuild and aid those affected. Desafío Levantemos Chile dates back to 2010, when Chile got hit by a devastating earthquake, and is an NGO that bases its continued existence in being able to provide aid during catastrophes such as this one.

Thank you everyone that’s shared this. The intent was mainly to show this to my circle and it makes my heart soar to see it reach outside of it.

If the RUT field is giving you issues (for foreigners), filling with 11.111.111-1 should solve it!

Due to the passing of an ex-president two days ago, the Chilean press is basically already moving on. For the attention and affection you’ve extended to us, thank you sincerely, and if you donate, know that it’s going to a good cause and to people that lost much if not everything, and that really will benefit from it.

Video Transcript: There is a decision being made right now that will drastically change my life forever, and I need your help. So, currently the way it works is that if you're disabled in the United States, you can't have more than $2000 at any given time. If I literally have one penny above $2000, all of my benefits are at risk. They literally don't let me build for the future. I can't have an emergency fund. The term "get rich or die trying," looking pretty bleak these days. And right now, the government is in the process of changing that cap from $2000 to $10,000, and this would help me and countless other people so much. Not only that, but I'm married now, and when you're married with a disability there's this thing called a Marriage Penalty which limits your income even further. That $2000 limit that I was talking about earlier now counts for both of us. A lot of people assume that Marriage Equality exists everywhere, for everyone in the United States, and it does not for disabled people. And this Bill would change that too. So please, please share this video everywhere you can, to everyone you know. Go to the link in my bio; there's a petition there that's super easy to fill out. And once you fill it out, it will be sent to your local Congress person automatically. Very few times is there such a direct way that you can made a difference - this is one of them. Please, go to the link. This is very exciting for me, and I know it is for so many other people. Thank you so much.

  • yemen is the poorest nation in the arab world. but in two weeks time, it did what no oil or gas- rich arab nation could do. by seizing three ships and costing i****l more than 2 billion by forcing its ships to go around africa, yemen showed up.

Just a reminder that Yemen has risked it ALL for Palestine, as they are going through one of the worst humanitarian crisis' ever. Due to their resilience, the puppets at the UN have decided to exclude them from the world food program. Yemen is STARVING. Please consider donating towards their hunger crisis. Let's show up for Yemen.

The relevant locations appear to be the San Francisco Bay Area and Portland, Oregon.

Lengyel, who also goes by the name Mylo Stone, hasn't cooperated with investigators and is considered a person of interest in Hermann's disappearance, police said.
In the days since the woman vanished, Lengyel is known to have traveled by vehicle from El Cerrito to Portland, Oregon, police said. He drives a blue 1989 Ford pickup truck, license plate UNCLDRT.
