Don’t even try to argue here with me. Sheldon is the most romantic character on the show.

1. Amy finding out about the ring. Did y'all see the look of “DAMNIT GRANDMOTHER” When his memaw told about the ring Sheldon was not all that happy. He wanted it to be a surprise for Amy like a proper, romantic proposal. When she spilled.

2. The way he grabs Amy. Ok, if you are a true Shamy shipper, you have watched GIFS of their kissing on the couch. Don’t even try to deny. :D But for example, in the Coitus episode, when Sheldon and Amy kiss, the way Sheldon holds her with his hands is amazing. Any one else notice this?

3. Asking. Again, in the Coitus episode, Sheldon ASKS Amy is his present for her was ok. Can you think of any other characters that asked for permission?

“I’m sorry if you think less of me” “I didn’t want you to think less of me” Sheldon wants to be the man that Amy deserves. He wants to show Amy that he loves her. You can give examples of Sheldon not necessarily treating Amy in the best ways alll the time but that’s just sheldon.

4. In the episode where he passed an application to travel to Mars, he asked her if she wanted to go with him. He initially didn’t tell her because he was still unsure of whether or not he would be accepted among the other (perhaps more qualified) applicants. Plus, he could also imagine having kids in Mars (even if Amy initially said it, he agreed)! 

5. Them buying a turtle together. Sheldon reaching out for Amy’s hand to hold it. And on Wolowitz’s take off. Whenever Sheldon initiates physical contact, you know it’s genuine. 

6. The way he looked and talked about Amy when he was at the mall with Bernadette to buy her a Christmas present. You could see how much he loves her, the guy’s eyes are sparkling for crying out loud. And also, whenever he looks at her. It’s either with sparkly, smiley koala faces, and looking at her twice. <3 

7. When Amy was sick, he took care of her. Well that’s pretty expected because it’s stated in the relationship agreement BUT goodness how caring Sheldon is while taking care of her: Rubbing vapor rub on her chest, and even drawing her (and helping her for) a bath! If that ain’t care, I don’t know what it is. 

8. When he made Amy his screensaver (well, technically, part of the mix of the things HE LOVES MOST). 

9. HIM CHASING A BALLOON FOR AMY BECAUSE HE WANTS THE FULL FRICKING ROMANTIC PACKAGE FOR AMY, ROSES AND ALL, ON HER BIRTHDAY. CHASED. A. BALLOON. 

10. Putting Amy down as his emergency contact, which, above all else, is important, because it shows how much he trusts her, even with his life. (Dear heavens if someone did this for me, I would flip out in glee). 

11. Extending the date night parameters for their first sleepover when they built a fort. Mind you, that Sheldon initiated that she spend the night there. SHELDON. INSIDE THE FORT. OH EM. 

I could go on and on and on because there are so many of Shelly’s romantic gestures (which some may probably just pass through) which, even though may not be as big, are as equally bold and beautiful and definitely romantic.

12. In the prom episode, when Sheldon was overwhelmed (not only of the pressure to spend the night) by how beautiful Amy was, AND saying “I love you (too)” before Amy did. <3
