what a year the past seven months have been

TAYLOR SWIFT @ "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour" night two at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos on November 19, 2023 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

a girl passed away at taylor swift’s concert here in brasil today because of the intense heat.

they were forbidding people to bring water with them (if they wanted water, they had to buy it). taylor stopped the show once to ask for HER team to hand out some water to people who were sick and then handed out water herself during a song. many other people were fainting.

the thermal sensation reached 140°F during the concert. tomorrow is predicted to be even worse. if people can’t, at the very least, bring water with them, there’s the risk someone else could die.

I have no idea if this will reach anyone here, but if you see this please help us by tweeting “T4F EXIGIMOS RESPEITO” or by @-ing them on twitter and instagram, so they can either reschedule tomorrow’s concert or allow people to bring water with them. this is a matter of public health and we don’t need another people to die to prove the point.

Taylor tried to help them as much as she could, but the company behind the stadium, etc., treated everyone with the utmost disregard.

The ventilation areas were closed, prohibiting water in heat of more than 140 degrees. This is inhumane! Thousands of people feeling sick, screaming and asking for water (with only Taylor and his team caring), A LIFE WAS LOST!!!

ive realized taylor could literally play any pair of surprise songs at my show and id be like “YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!” because i really enjoy all her songs and am easily manipulated by taylor swift

I think we as a fandom don't talk enough about how funny it is that Taylor put it's time to go right after right where you left me like. girlie was like "I've never moved on from anything ever." just to then say that you should let go of things that don't serve you. like. you cannot even take your own advice ❤️

i think. and this is gonna sound super corny but whatever. that you don't really realize how resilient you are until you are put in the position where you simply. must survive something. so like, during the relationship, you might be like 'i would never survive if we broke up', you might have all these night-terrors about it. but when it happens, and you still have to get out of bed every morning, you realize how tough you are. you realize that you've always been tough enough to weather any and everything, that you've gotten yourself through so much, so you can survive this too. & that doesn't mean you're not grieving! but i just don't think you realize how strong you are until you have to be strong.
