as an ancient relic born in the stone age someone who has been here for a long-ass time [i.e. since 2010-11ish], i remember liveblogging wrestlemania 29 and one of the blogs i was/am following was anxiously waiting for the mixed tag match (the only match on the card that featured women competing, for any children out here). someone replied to them, asking why they’re so worried about a mere tag match when the wwe championship match was yet to happen, they replied [nonverbatim], “because we care about the women”
