I know that I skipped Day 4, but I didn’t want to be too far behind xD P.S.: Gajeel doesn’t really mind the flowers :D he can’t let others know tho, especially Natsu and the other guys xD

Gajevy Day 5: Flowers
I don’t have much to say on that one lol. A continuation of Day 2, in that the flower on Levy’s headband is made of iron. Also inspired by that one onsen comic of them where Gajeel makes Levy a cute headband with a rose on it ;w; An iron flower would be cute too!
Gajevy Week Day 4: Relax
I’ve always wanted to redraw my fave panel of those two ;w;
“You’re joining the Magic Council?” Levy repeated. “You, of all people?”
Gajeel shrugged. “Don’t read too much into it. I just wanna arrest people.”
Levy raised an eyebrow. “Did you come to me just to tell me about your new job?”
“Nah,” he replied. “I wanna propose somethin’.”
“Yes?” Levy prompted, curious.
“Come with me.”
There was a moment of silence that felt like an eternity.
“What?”
“Join the Magic Council. We can work together. You, me,and Lilly.”
“I can’t,” she argued. “I have a job. I’m a librarian’s assistant now. It’s the perfect job for me. I wouldn’t be any good at Council work.”
“I’m not gonna force you!” Gajeel snapped defensively. “You can stay here if ya want. I just… I’d be happy if you were there with me.”
“I’m sorry, Gajeel,” Levy said, “I can’t.”
The large man nodded in acceptance. “Sorry for bothering you,” he muttered before turning and heading out the door.
Panther Lily was waiting for him outside.
“Where’s Levy?” the exceed asked.
“She’s not coming,” Gajeel snarled, walking past him and heading in the direction of their hotel.
Lily followed. “Are you sure?”
“She said ‘no’. That’s that.”
“That’s a shame.”
“Told you this was a waste of time,” Gajeel muttered. “What happened to ‘she’ll come as long as you ask her’?”
“Don’t pretend you’re not disappointed.”
“She’s not leavin’ her new job for us.”
“But you hoped she would, didn’t you?”
Gajeel didn’t reply.
Suddenly, a voice called out to them.
“WAAAAIIIIIIIT!”
The two turned to see a familiar bluenette hurrying towards them. They stopped and waited for her to catch up. Levy leaned forwards, hands on her knees, panting.
“Change of heart?” Lily asked, smirking at Gajeel.
The breathless girl nodded.
“Told you,” the exceed said to his partner.
“Huh?” Levy panted.
“Don’t worry about it.”

Gajevyweek2020, Day 3: Trials
Levy came back into their bedroom only to find Gajeel lying on the bed, his back turned towards her. It wasn’t the first time Gajeel woke up late in the night because of a nightmare.
But this particular nightmare worked him up a lot, since their fight against Bloodman.
It was the memory of their first encounter.
She knew that he wasn’t back asleep and put the glass of water she retrieved from the kitchen on the nightstand, on her side of the bed, and climbed into bed right next to him.
Gajeel felt her lying right behind him and got startled when he felt her wrapping her arms around his torso, tightly pressing herself onto his back. Out of instinct he put his hand on top of hers, feeling the comfort of the person he loves more than anything in this world.

Why did I do that?!
Levy’s hand tangled in her unruly blue hair while the other one held for dear life to the doorknob of her room. As soon as the door clicked shut, she started pacing around the small space between her bed and bounced around her head while her heart pounded its way out of her chest.
I’m just making a big deal out of this. Nothing else. It’s just silly. I’m being silly.
Right?
She stopped as she eyed the leftover red ribbon that sat on top of her desk. Earlier that morning, she had been so sure, so confident while preparing her special gift. Her cheeks were still sore from how widely she had been smiling just picturing the scene, the words her mouth would utter, the cheeky grin with a sharp fang that would surely be thrown her way after opening the package. And now…
“Ugh! How could I be so stupid?!” she flopped down onto her bed on her back, rubbing her palms over her eyes and down her face, trying to erase the memory, erase the flick of red eyes meeting hers, erase the lack of a grin, erase the echo of heavy footsteps getting farther away from her and leaving her hollow in a lonesome hallway.
She huffed defeatedly. Nothing she did was helping her feel any better. It only helped to make her feel worse. Levy looked back to the desk and next to the annoying little reminder of her impromptu gift, sat a blank piece of paper and an ink pen. She frowned but still got up from her bed. She sat down heavily on the desk, pushing away the red ribbon and getting a firm grab on her pen.
She started writing.
Gajevyweek: Day one- Letters
Although Gajeel and Levy use a lacrima to communicate, he occasionally writes Levy letters during his longer missions, since she said how romantic and more personal letters feel, while talking about a story she read in the past.
Gajevy Week Day 2: Proposal
I’ve always headcanoned that Gajeel makes gifts out of iron for Levy, especially because of that one doodle in vol. 47 where he makes her an iron book cover, and because of that one picture on Mashima’s twitter where they have matching metal necklaces, so I also headcanon that he’d make an engagement ring himself too ;w; I always forget to post stuff for this shipweek, so I worked hard on this prompt this time! Also, there’s not much talking for a ‘proposal’, but one of this ship’s dynamics is that they understand each other well even without saying much, so~

Gajevy week; Letters
Levy couldn’t remember when the guild had gotten all the board games, but most of them were well used and loved. Some of them weren’t as playable as they had been when they were new; missing more than half of the pieces and serving as a fond memory instead. As such, those that were completely done were displayed in the guild library, stained and worn down.
Lately, those games had been replaced so the newer generation had a chance to make their own memories with them. Though, she had noticed some of the older members joining in on games as well, bringing a smile to her lips. So, she wasn’t the only one to slip in a few games here and there between jobs.
However, the one person she hadn’t expected to see playing them was Gajeel, even though she should have figured as much. It had been a pleasant surprise, and she giggled each time she watched him play with the youngest members. He played with as much vigor as though he was fighting with Natsu, but none of the vitriol. If anything, he was more supportive of his opponents, cheering loudly if they won and feigning shocked surprise if they “got him”. He’d clutch his chest and fall over comically as Asuska would squeal and high five Romeo.
Levy couldn’t help but wonder if he’d be willing to sit down to a game with her, even if her games were more “nerdy” than the other games. But, she had a good feeling as she gathered the Scrabble box closer to her chest and ventured closer to him, ready to challenge her love to a game of letters.
