Who are your top 10 favorite characters that you voice and why?
Who are my top 10 favorite characters to voice and why? Hmm…
(In no particular order)
1. Tavros Nitram from Homestuck. I love voicing shy bull-bro because it’s the most innocent-sounding out of all the voices that I am able to do.
Another reason why I love voicing him is because saying really “dirty or lewd” things in his voice is always hilarious!!
2. Billy the Kitten, who is an OC of @billy-the-kitten. Billy is an absolute favorite of mine to do, because I get to impersonate what a lot of people think Texans sound like.
He’s also the easiest voice to sing in.
3. Monkey D. Luffy from None Piece. Luffy is a gem of a voice. I mean…its not every day that you get to talk as Sean Connery if he were a cartoon character hopped up on crack cocaine.
Luffy’s voice is also the same voice I plan to use as my gender-bent voice for Lapis Lazuli.
4. Cry a.k.a @cryaotic. Cry, so far, is the only popular Youtuber who I have been able to impersonate. His voice is really fun to do because it’s the total polar opposite of my voice.
His voice is smooth and confident, while mine is cringe-y and unsure.
5. Kankri Vantas from Homestuck. Kankri is fun to voice when he doesn’t speak in paragraphs. Lol!! But, for real though…Kankri is a lot of fun to voice.
The fact that I get to voice a characterization/a parody of Tumblr is, in it’s own way, super hilarious!!
6. Sans from Undertale. Voicing Sans is always a thrill for me to do. Because not only do I get to make really bad puns and be silly, but I also get to be serious and sad.
Sans, for me, is a challenge that I think every character should present to a voice actor/actress.
A character should be able to make the audience feel all sorts of emotions. And, in the same respect, a character should make you, the actor/actress, be able to pull out the whole spectrum of emotions.
7. Annie May the Anime Girl. Annie May the Anime Girl is the title I’ve given to one of the many weird females voices that I can do.
Speaking as Annie May is a WHOLE lot fun to do. Mainly because people look at me and go “Is it even possible for a boy’s voice to go that high?”
To give a better bit of context, Annie May’s voice is that of a super shy anime girl’s voice.
8. Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights At Freddy’s. Freddy, like Tavros, is really fun to do because of how innocent it sounds. You wouldn’t expect foul language to come from a children’s pizzeria animatronic. Lol!!
Funny enough, a few friends and I actually came up with a persona for Freddy who actually does openly curse. His name is Defective Freddy.
9. Any Nintendo character. There are WAY too many to count that I do, and I love voicing them all!!
A few of my favorites are: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, Conker, and Banjo.
10. Mickey Mouse. Being able to do a Mickey voice, whether it’s in the privacy of my own home or at a Disney store, is always a pleasure to do.
I think being able to do a Mickey voice, this coming from a kid who watched a lot of Mickey Mouse cartoons growing up, makes me feel really accomplished.

How the heck are you gonna meet Barney's voice actor? This is coming from someone who was on Sesame Street's set and met all the characters up close, so the surprise is kinda kindred.
Kinda crazy to think about, but the voice actor of Barney actually goes to our church.
As to how I’m able to meet him at all. Well, through a lot of connections that my Dad and several other of my Dad’s church friends have….
We’re gonna manage a meet-up with him so we can talk about all things voice acting!!
