When I was little my mom’s meatloaf was my favorite food. But ONLY her meatloaf. I didn’t like anyone else’s, and she told me that she would teach me how to make it when I was older. And when I was like 19? She finally taught me, but she told me never to tell anyone else and I was like weird but okay

Anyway, she was super fucking homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so here’s the recipe

You can get almost all of these ingredients at the dollar store, and have leftovers if it’s just you. The leftovers make great tacos if (taco seasoning is also like a dollar). Enjoy your revenge loaf

here’s a mashed potato recipe from my homophobic mother that i swore to never share that would pair perfectly!

(6 servings)

-2lbs red potatoes

-1 cup butter (2 sticks)

-1 cup cream cheese (1 pack)

-Chives (optional)

-Salt & Pepper to taste

1. drop those bad boys (potatoes) in a big ol pot. U don’t even have to chop them just wash them

2. boil til soft!

3. Drain

4. Mash (usually they’re small enough you can use a fork if u don’t have one of those squashers) until its a pretty chunky mix

5. add the other stuff. Keep mashing

I like my mashed potato consistancy more lumpy but its all up to you!! Peel the potatoes or keep them on, it literally makes the creamiest fluffiest mashed potatoes which she always served with the nastiest fuckin meatloaf

I made it for myself, but figured after all that work I should probably share. Happy spite cooking!

My aunt never really had this as a secret recipe but she would only make this once a year and never gave anyone the recipe. Until I moved across country. None of my family back home has been overtly transphobic but they sure don’t call or acknowledge me anymore so close enough right?

Pumpkin Roll

Ingredients for cake:

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 tsp lemon juice

2/3 cups pumpkin puree

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp Cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp salt

¾ cups flour

Ingredients for filling:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese

4 Tbsp Margarine

½ tsp vanilla

Instructions:

Beat eggs on high 5 min. Slowly beat in sugar. Stir in pumpkin and lemon juice. Mix flour and dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Fold dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture. Spread onto wax paper lined 15×10" pan. Top with ½ cup pecans (optional).

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min. Turn onto a tea bowl sprinkles with powdered sugar. Peel of wax paper. Roll towel and cake together. Let cool completely while rolled up.

Filling: beat all ingredients until smooth. Unroll cake and spread filling. Roll cake up again and chill in the fridge.

Cut into slices and enjoy!

as a society i don’t think we talk enough about how fucking funny bride of reanimator really is. the main antagonist of the movie is the decapitated head of the bad guy from the first movie but with a pair of bat wings sewn onto him. herbert tries to bribe dan into frankenstein activities by offering him his dead girlfriend’s heart and it WORKS. herbert then gets so mad that dan’s having sex with a woman that he decides to stick a random arm and leg together and bring it to life to distract himself. it immediately strangles him. that fisheye lens shot of herbert when he’s calling hill’s head a “no-body”. francesca’s dog getting a human arm put on it which is clearly just a guy holding up his hand behind a regular dog. herbert is regularly lurking in the walls. simply the line “my god, they’re using tools!” the movie starts with herbert and dan at war in PERU??? the last movie ended in massachusetts. there’s a specific “goop wrangler” listed in the credits. peak cinema i dare say.
