some snoots, some whiskers, and a goblin

@snoots-and-wiskers

Intro post for my animals in order of acquisition:

Deborah and Darwin

Orphan foster fail bottle babies born May of 2017. Darwin has PRA and is mostly blind at this point, and Debbie heavily relies on him.

CannyGaun SevenSeven & Magpies "Vega"

Old Time Scotch Collie (OTSC) born 22 April 2017 in LA, and came to me June of that year. She's my heart dog and I love her very much ❤️

Cherniak's Curiosity Mission @ Lionheart "Mars"

English Shepherd X husky/sheltie born 10 February 2020 over at @justslowdown (litter name Hershey). She also has some littermates on Tumblr if you want to check them out. Kappa @sunsignshepherd, Persie @pomegranatepup, and Gigi over at their breeder's blog

"Gunner"

My bf's GSD, born 11 October 2017. We moved to NM in June of 2023, so he became part of the pack at that time. He's a good kid.

Owned but doesn't live here:

Robyn Goodfellow "Puck"

Terrier mix estimated to have been born February 2015. He was a stray caught at a vet clinic that no one claimed and I took him home about a month after I lost my previous dog in 2018. Currently lives with my mom in TN.

It's been a long time and there are both animal and life updates

The most important: in May we lost Ray. He was declining cognitively and his back was beginning to hurt more, so we decided to let him go. He would have been 14 in August.

In June we moved to NM with my boyfriend. Puck sadly stayed behind with my mom, since Gram is the most important person in his life and the move would have been entirely too stressful for him. The girls, the cats, Verraz, and I all moved. Fish tanks also stayed behind.

My boyfriend has a dog! He's a large German Shepherd named Gunner who will be 6 in October, so 6 months younger than Vega. The pack very quickly went from 4 to 2, back to 3 and it's been an adjustment for everyone.

No guarantees on posting regularly, but an update at least on the current crew I thought would be good.
