I know I said I would do this a few days ago but I decided it would be the best to just post this on here when I post it on my story on Instagram, so here it is now lol

I already wrote my thoughts on the last episode somewhere else so here it is:

Ok, I think now that it’s been a day I can make a less angry review of last nights episode. I will still be saying what I didn’t like about that episode tho. Because majority of it I didn’t enjoy as a TBOBF episode. If it was an episode of Mando Season 3, ok cool, I can see these last 2 episodes fitting in more with Mando’s storytelling than TBOBF’s. If they really want those characters to appear in TBOBF THAT badly, then they can have them be small side characters and SHOULD NOT be stealing the light from the main character (Boba). Boba really could’ve been explored properly as a character and I believe they could’ve written something enjoyable because they make this Mando and Grogu stuff enjoyable, so why can’t they put that effort to Boba?

Idk really disappointed in the treatment of Boba ESPECIALLY in last couple episodes. They REALLY REALLY should’ve saved that Din and Grogu stuff for Mando Season 3. It doesn’t tie into Boba’s story or what’s happening on Tatooine AT ALL.

It would’ve been cool if the couple episodes, they get Din, Din realizes how urgent this is and joins them right away and throughout the two episodes they build the tension of the Pykes being on Tatooine and could’ve built onto Boba’s character and his relationships with people around him, especially his relationship with Fennec. There, I came up with something they could’ve had the last 2 episodes be about and I’m not even a professional yet!

I also hate how they’re wasting the talent of such amazing actors such as Temuera and Ming-na. Just side lining them for shiny armor man and green baby thing (sorry I’m salty right now, but I do like Din and Grogu a lot lol). I’m just… ugh… not happy with the last few episodes… I really hope there is a second season of this and that that season will actually focus on Boba and his character. (And also give the respect that both Temuera and Ming-na deserve). And if there isn’t, well Boba should get 2 whole episodes to himself in Mando season 3 to be even.

The few positives I have: Boba showing up for a few seconds (WOOO! YEAH BABY! THATS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR! THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! WOO!), my budgie talking to R2-D2 (he thought he was another budgie lol), Grogu was cute (still should’ve saved his stuff for Mando season 3 tho), Ahsoka met Luke (also should’ve saved that for Mando season 3 OR the Ahsoka show tho), CAD BANE, my budgie loving to watch Din’s star fighter flying, those clone troopers in Grogu’s flashback (one clone had a specially painted helmet :) I’m probably the only person who noticed that)

Ok, on a slightly more positive note, my pet budgie really liked the last episode lol Whenever Din’s star fighter was on screen, flying, he was start singing sweetly. And… he really loved it when R2-D2 chirped and made noises, he even started replying to him 😭

Quick disclaimer, I like Din, I like Luke, I like Grogu, I like every character that made a “star appearance” in this episode, but…

I’m sorry WHAT THE FUCK!?

THIS IS BOBA’S SHOW! ARE THEY REALLY THAT LAZY THAT THEY CAN’T WRITE ANY NEW SHIT FOR THIS CHARACTER, OR DO THEY REALLY NEED TO LEAN ON APPEARANCES OF OTHER CHARACTERS AND TEASINGS OF OTHER SHOWS TO MAKE THIS SHOW INTERESTING?! I THINK NOT? BOBA FUCKING FETT IS A SUCH A MYSTERIOUS CHARACTER WHO HAS BEEN A FAN FAVORITE FOR YEARS AND THIS IS THE FUCKING TREATMENT HE GETS? TO BE THE FUCKING GUEST STAR OF HIS OWN FUCKING SHOW!? I’M SORRY, BUT THIS HAS GONE TOO FUCKING FAR. SURE ITS FUN TO SEE ALL THOSE OTHER CHARACTERS BUT TO FOCUS ON THEM AND ONLY THEM AND NOT THE MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER IS PRETTY MESSED UP. LEAVE THAT DIN AND GROGU SHIT FOR MANDO SEASON 3 GOD DAMMIT! THIS IS BOBA’S SHOW, SO FOCUS ON HIS CHARACTER AND HIS STORY! NOT ONLY THAT BUT I WAITED THIS LONG TO SEE MY FAVORITE ACTOR, TEMUERA MORRISON, TO COME BACK TO STAR WARS AND THIS IS THE FUCKING TREATMENT HE GETS!?!!??! I AM FUMING THAT THEY TREATED THIS CHARACTER AND ACTOR LIKE THIS FOR TWO EPISODES IN A FUCKING ROW. THEY BETTER FUCKING HAVE TWO EPISODES OF ONLY BOBA IN MANDO SEASON 3 SO WE’RE EVEN. BECAUSE HOLY SHIT BOBA AND TEM DESERVE BETTER. AND NONE OF YOU GIVE ME THAT “it’s setting up for the long run and slow paced storytelling” BULLSHIT FOR THIS. THESE LAST TWO EPISODES WERE JUST NOT IT FOR ME. SEASON 2 IS NOT CONFIRMED AND THIS SHOW LITERALLY HAS BOBA FETT’S NAME IN IT SO YEA I’M FUCKING PISSED. TBOBF HAD POTENTIAL BUT THESE LAST TWO EPISODES ARE MAKING ME LOOSE HOPE. GIVE BOBA AND TEMUERA THE RESPECT AND STORY THEY FUCKING DESERVE. EPISODE 2 REALLY FOOLED ME IN THINKING THEY WERE GONNA DO THAT FOR THEM. BUT HERE WE ARE. OMFG
