I just don't think there's a particular word in most wide-spread languages that tie the weather to emotions. The closest I can think of is the legend of the Fisher King, who was originally a king whose land was failing because he was in ill health, but it became expanded to a king whose emotional state altered the state of his kingdom, tied to the position, rather than a specific ruler. An example of this modern version is evident in the Lion King, as the difference between Mufasa's rule and Scar's rule.

Aufrehrgeist is actually my favorite so far. Might have trouble remembering to spell it, so I should /probably/ write that down somewhere.

But yeah I think this is a good word to use instead of the Canon one.

Rainbow is a lot smarter than she pretends to be. She understands basic anatomy, math, and physics, along with various Magical stuff surrounding flight, rainbooms, and weather. All of this is necessary for being Weather Manager and of course being a Wonderbolt

She hides this because when she was little she learned that being smart ‘wasn’t cool’ so she shut all that down because she doesn't want to be seen as an egghead. 

Rainbow is also dyslexic, which contributes to her appearance as a dumb jock. She’s good at math but bad at reading. This contributes to that episode where she was trying to study for that Wonderbolt test. She’s not good at learning just by reading, and needed a more visual/verbal method. Interactive methods are best. 

Rainbow is the one most likely to adopt people into her family. It’s a Loyalty trait. First Fluttershy, then Scootaloo. Also Flash Sentry. And the EQG Rainbow has Sunset Shimmer too. Probably more. 

While Rainbow’s a little known for flying off the handle with her temper, there is one thing that absolutely pisses her off more than anything: Turning against someone you call a friend or family member. Like, that’s the kind of anger that has be use the Big Fonts on Fimfiction.

I wrote this post, like, a year and a half ago but I just found it so here I’m throwing it into the void!

Okay, I have no justification of any kind, other than “the other night I rearranged my room, saw my mlp toys on my Percy Jackson shelf, and decided to debate with myself about “if the MLP cast were all in the PJO Universe, who would their godly parent be?”.” 

Obviously they’re all Humans, or well, Demigods, in this AU(Actually, there’s one Mortal), instead of being ponies(I think by default horses are Poseidon territory). That said, their in-show abilities/traits count for what I choose. Same for choosing the ‘godly parent’, meaning that while full Myth(and my interpretations) will be in play, how the gods work in the PJO books count as well. 

I’m also keeping to just the more well-known gods/goddesses. Because while there’s a lot of minor ones and I could probably spend days going down the rabbit hole of Wikipedia articles to find a ‘perfect fit’, why would I do that? For that same reason, I’m also sticking to Greeks instead of trying to balance ‘should I make them Greek or Roman?’. 

So! On that note, this is mostly a list, however, I do add more and give reasons for my choices, even talking of ones I debated about. And a few bonus headcanons.

Okay, I made a dumb thought thing the other night that I’ve been thinking about, so have a follow up of a full MLP Headcanon Post! 

About Dr. Caballeron of all characters! Technically it gets into just all the archaeology horses since I discuss his job and his relationships with other characters, but I focus mostly on Caballeron.

I mean, come on. If Daring Do can have a normal life as A.K. Yearling and write books, go to signings and conventions and all that stuff, then Caballeron probably has an actual job.

Okay, I kinda went over this MLP Headcanon a while back, but I’m elaborating on it!

MLP Foods/Do the characters eat Meat?

It’s a much debated headcanon. Some people like to think that Ponies stick to the diet of real-world horses, and are vegetarian if not full vegan. Others think ‘hey, man. This is a world of Sapient Magical Technicolor Ponies. Why stick to real-world rules?’.

So, funny story with this. Like many MLP artists, I decided to make Headcanon Heights that are different from the canon show models. Pretty much the only ones unchanged were the Immortals, but on average, Earth Ponies were bigger, Unicorns were smaller, and Pegasai were somewhere inbetween. 

Now, when I did the Mane 6 Headcanons, I decided to make Twilight enormous for a Unicorn, being the size of an Earth Pony(Not to mention a slight growth spurt from Alicorn Ascension). 

I hadn’t realized until recently what that meant for certain height comparisons. Flash isn’t actually short.  He’s average for a Pegasus. Twi’s just giant. But it makes an adorable comparison , and grumpy Flash is adorable(He and his sisters share the adorable grump face, even though he’s only related to one of them).

It’s 4 am so I’m making the official headcanon post:

I now headcanon Fluttershy as part Siren. Like, maybe 1/8th Siren? Not enough to get the physical charistics, but enough to have some Magic ability. Aka, Voice Magic. Aka, a sort of Universal Translation that lets her talk to animals.

Sunset tried to ask, but the thought died the moment she saw her face. It was soft, sad, perhaps a bit nostalgic. She looked near tears. Turning away from the statue, she gave the same look to the Moon.
It was why Sunset Shimmer had run, even with no idea where she was going. Because it hurt too much. It hurt to be in that castle, to be in that city. It hurt to be in that world.
She was just her, just Sunset Shimmer. Unicorn, Human, it didn’t matter here.
There were days when Equestria would not cross her mind, when the strangeness of this world didn’t feel as strange.
“Because I have to!” Sunset screamed back.
It had always been a lie, hadn’t it? She’d only ever taken from her, withholding the only thing she wanted while freely giving it to others. She’d abandoned her, kicked her out, let her run off into another world alone. It was cruel, and she felt tears begging to start as she heard those girls talk of how she’d never been worth anything. Of how ‘Twilight’ was.

So, I ended up drawing something for my fic Glowing Embers. Just Sunset in a few of the scenes.I’d say it’s fun, but even the happy scenes are sad.
