it makes me feel a bit discouraged that the staff in eene interviews imagine eddy having a mediocre if not unsuccessful carreer compared to edd (psychiatrist, UN ambassador, etc) and ed (special effects artist, small business owner, etc). Like, at best eddy’s a juggler of different odd jobs, and at worst he’s a carnival scammer like his dead-beat brother.

I feel like eddy, for all his...eddy, has the potential to be just as successful as the other eds. He’s ambitious, cunning, clever, compassionate, passionate. His real problem is his stubbornness and brashness, but it’s assumed by BPS he works on his character and starts his growth out of Bro’s abusive influence.

So I don’t think he’d regress and be a high school dropout or someone who’d do low jobs just to “get by/ get a quick buck”. He still LOVES money, but I feel he’d love the idea of working earnestly for it, the feeling of accomplishment from doing his job right and investing in his funds. I don’t know exactly what eddy could do because as demonstrated in the show, he’s a jack of all trades. From ideation to leadership to salesmanship, he’s got a lot under his belt.

BUT I do think he’d be one of those feral college students who scams a scammer and uploads videos of his ventures on youtube. He lives for the raw POWER of outsmarting “princes from uganda” and being feared by his followers. Internet know how and shenanigans like that could probably get him a decent following, enough cash on the side to pay for some classes jfkfkfjf

tldr: ppl have too little faith in Eddy. I think he’d aim high and work his ass off to be everything his brother wasn’t. Either way, old habits die hard and he loves scamming scammers and uploading his shenanigans on youtube like the feral goblin he is.
