“Really!? That would be most kind of you!” Linkle beamed. “Oh, I know! Should you ever be in danger, should you ever need help, I’ll come running!” The blond offered with a smile. “I may run a ranch, but I’ll never be too busy for you.” She added with a giggle.
Linkle lightly tapped the toe of her left boot to the ground to adjust it. Then her right. At this rate she could have construction started before the sun started to set. If she could find out the frequency of stal monsters that rose during the night in the area she was building the ranch in Linkle could figure out how many lanterns she’d need.
“Just a warning for you if you visit the ranch. Cojiro, my blue Cucco rooster, he’s a little trouble maker. When he likes someone he roosts on their head. It might be a little troublesome, but he’s protective of the people he likes!”

—≪ 💮 ≫ “O-Oh... That’s kind of charming in it’s own way. I’m used to the cuccos though...”

She glanced over to where a pen was -- Immediately noting that all, but one had escaped. Again.

    “Come, follow me.”

She moved past her, leading her up, out of the village. About twenty yards from the main road, was the start of a large forest of trees.

“Feel free to cut these ones down.”

Cia paused. The Sorceress stared in surprise as her cheeks began to warm. Link was actually going to try and pair his dish with her food. Not to mention he asked her favorite food.
“I like anything with strawberries…” Cia answered quietly. “I hope that isn’t too surprising.” She continued, finishing that initial thought. “As for the food I’m preparing, the ingredients are carrots, potatoes, meat and onions all in a spiced pumpkin broth. Typically you serve it in bread dough that’s been baked into a bowl.”

—≪ ⚔️ ≫”I know exactly what I’m making then.”

He winked at her, before taking a book out of his pack, quickly flipping through the pages. He was pretty sure he remembered all of the ingredients to what he was going to make, but he would rather check to make sure.

“I’ll have to add that recipe to my book of them. Whenever I travel, I can’t help but add new dishes to it. I have recipes from all over the world, thanks to my tendencies to do such.”

“Well, good people can do bad things with good intentions. That much is a given.” She replied after hearing his answer. “But you’re not that sort of person. I believe in you, so… Please let me scratch your belly and behind your ears sometime. Okay?”
She held a nervous tone. The fact he was here meant he was probably looking for something. Riju didn’t know what, but the chief wanted to help him however she could. What made her nervous though wasn’t the fact Link was here, that made her happy. What made her nervous was continuing to tread on a topic that made him uncomfortable. That and the fact she really enjoyed his company, something she knew she couldn’t be selfish about.

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “Sounds like a plan. How about I come visit you tonight to show that I’m honored to have you as an ally?”

A smile. He could detect the fact she seemed... Rather uneasy for some reason. He pulled the jeweled piece out once more, placing it around his neck, before shifting back into wolf form. He pranced around her in a circle, nuzzling and pawing at her leg. Maybe that would make her happy again.

“You’ll be giving men hands on training with weapons here and there, be dueling here and there too, but most importantly people want to learn from you how to best care for horses!” Zelda answered with a smile that seemed to encompass her face. “That’s your morning, in the afternoon you’ll be entertaining the children. Mostly young boys. Think you’ll be able to keep up with them?” She teased.
Stepping away the princess took a few paces before spinning around and giving her knight the biggest smile.
“I’ll be doing a lot of dancing, try not to get jealous okay?” She mused. “If you get the chance though come listen to me play the harp. You’re my biggest source of encouragement. Tonight we’ll be free to watch the magic displays. You… You will join me right? I’d hate to go alone.”
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫”Of course, I can, Princess. I’ll do all that you’ve asked of me and then some... However on the subject of dancing...”

He moved closer, grasping her hand, spinning her around, before lowering her into a dip.

“You had better save a dance or two for me... If so, I think I can keep the beast known as jealousy in check.”

As he spoke, his face was inches from her own... Yet he made no move. Instead, he moved away, letting her stand normally once more. He supposed such an action was extremely bold, given it was the princess. However, no guards were around so he felt he could be a little more carefree.

“I do look forward to hearing you play, I love it so.”

Tera wrapped her arms around one of Link’s and pressed her body to him. She brought herself even closer by pressing her forehead to his.
“You’ve grown fond of me? I’m flattered.” She whispered with a giggle. “And the amount you’ve missed me, I feel I’ve done you a disservice. I’d be pleased to have you young hero, if you’re okay with an older woman like myself.” Tera flirted. “Your mortality isn’t an issue though my dear, if it were a gal like myself would be left all alone forever.”
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “R-Right. Thanks. I don’t really... Think much of age difference when it comes to beings of great magic, such as yourself. Like you said... Everyone deserves a chance and love... And stuff.”

He swallowed. He felt like all of charisma had flown out the door, like cuccos on a rampage. Hand went up behind his neck, smoothing his shirt, while he tried to figure out how to save his dignity.

“So what would... You like to do? I’m not sure what fairies like to do for fun...”

Although if what happened whenever he had a piece of clothing enchanted was any idea, Link might have just doomed himself to sex before dinner.

“You do? Could you please tell me where I could find some really good lumber for building? I was told I can’t take any of the trees near the great fairy fountain, but without any wood I can’t build my home or the fence for the Cucco pen  or even their house.” She explained. “Also do you know any monsters that are in the open northern fields? My birds can protect themselves, but I still need to do all I can as their rancher.”
There were a number of times where she’d left the ranch to hunt for food and come back to a poor Bokoblin being pecked to death by a circle of Cucco. While Linkle had always felt sorry for them the dumb monsters brought upon themselves.

—≪ 💮 ≫ “Hmm... I can lead you to a spot that you can cut down trees... And I know of a place you could get all the information you seek about the monsters and wildlife in the area you’re settling. I can also offer some food for you until you get on your feet.”

She supposed her grandma wouldn’t mind if she gave some of their food.

“Oh? You wish to date me?” The great fairy asked in a flirty yet shocked tone.
She held up a single finger before sinking back into her fountain. With a splash of water the great fairy burst from the water. There was a surprise though as the platinum haired Great Fairy landed standing before Link standing at five feet and eight inches. Tera wore a dress styled in the days of Hyrule of yore complete with a golden choker and strap heels.
“And here I thought that I’d have to be disappointed at you leaving me here again.” Tera teased. “For what reason do you want to date? Not that I have any reason to say no.” She commented further, sealing her words with a giggle.

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “Well... Um...”

He swallowed hard. This was his chance... She had even changed forms for him. He just had to not screw this up.

“I’ve grown really fond of you. I know it sounds silly... But every time I came here I felt sad upon leaving your company... And now that everything has calmed down... I-I was wondering if you’d consider it. I know I’m just a silly mortal after all...”

Zelda had been soundly asleep for the most part. There would be incomprehensible murmurs from the princess here and there, but ultimately she was soundly asleep for the night. The blond was off in the land of sweet dreams as nightmares were rare occurrences for her.
It would even be sometime between when Impa woke up and she herself would. When the Princess finally did wake she drowsily brought a hand to the other woman’s cheek.
“Impa..?” Zelda asked in a half asleep tone. “I love you.” She whispered before nestling in. She wasn’t awake enough to fully comprehend things yet.

—≪ 🏯 ≫ “Love you too...”

Her thoughts were far from the princess though. She... She needed to call this off. It was going to go horribly wrong. This was too dangerous... She was going to be a hindrance to the blonde beside her, wasn’t she? No... No she...

More tears now, as she went to swiftly cast them away.

“Interesting…” Riju mused as her smile grew. “Tell me, do your kind have any sort of popular sports? We have horseback archery and sand seal racing!”
Just the mention of sand seals made her mind go to Patricia. After that it was her love for the sport. Riju’s eyes were practically sparkling at the mention of the sport. If anything her love for the animals and the sport were borderline obsessive.

—≪ 🌙 ≫ “Hmm. We have Twili fishing and Sky Racing.”

The girl’s enthusiasm was catchy and admirable. She wondered if there was anything else she could say that would maker her continue her excitement.

Avatar
“It’s up to the royal family to decide if you should be here. The gods banished the Twili, but you are proof that banishment is unnecessary. So I say you have every right to be here.” Zelda replied.
She watched as Midna shifted forms, changing back into her visage of her full beauty. When she was done transforming the Princess gave a smile.
“Allow me to take a moment to get changed myself and I’ll be ready to depart. I’m looking forward to this date.” The Princess beamed.
Princess Zelda ducked away behind a screen. Her silhouette was visible and soon her dress was too as it was brought to hang over the top. it took some time of hunting in the wardrobe near the screen, but eventually the royal family member reappeared wearing an elegant dress.
“How is it? It was made for me as a gift by my closest friend here in the castle.” Zelda inquired. “She makes beautiful and magnificent clothes.”

—≪ 🌙 ≫”Breathtaking... Oh you meant the dress. Yes, it’s beautiful. Perhaps I’ll have to ask her to make me something as well.”

A laugh, as she moved to lock her arm with the other.

“You’ve made my day, Zelda, I hope you know that.”

=<🐟}< “L-Link?”
Hylia must have decided to play a practical joke on Mipha today. Because now, she would have happily taken being eaten by a wolf. Of course, Link had no way of knowing her fear of wolves. She kept that trauma very close to herself; Only Sidon and her father knew. And, well … Now, so did Link.
“H-How … wh-why …” She stuttered, looking up, water dripping from her headfin.
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “I just was playing with you a little. I didn’t know the wolf form would frighten you... I’m so sorry, Mipha, at best I thought you’d find it cute. I won’t be a wolf around you again, I promise.”

He hugged her now, tightly, feeling tears well in his eyes. Of all the people... He had frightened her.

“Thank you for your hospitality!” Linkle stated with a bow.
Afterwards she left Impa’s residence only to run into Paya as she was coming up the steps.
“Ah! I’m sorry if I’m in your way!” Linkle apologized. “I was just leaving. My name’s Linkle! I’ll be moving into the fields just outside of town to set up my Cucco ranch. I just got all of the permits I needed to in order to be considered a registered citizen of Kakariko. I hope we can get along”
The happiness was not only evident in her tone, Linkle was swaying to and fro in joy. Her dual crossbows clinked a bit in her movements, but they were quiet compared to her joyful humming.

—≪ 💮 ≫ “It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m Paya, Impa’s granddaughter. Is there anything you need? I’d be-- H-Happy to help. I, um, know just about everything here that you might need to know.”

She swallowed hard. She had almost made it without stumbling over words... At it was a girl and not a guy. She’d be doomed.

Cia was all smiles as they spoke on the streets. She used all that she could to hold back and be ‘normal’. After all being herself meant being doting and obsessive. Once they were done at the smith’s with Link’s order she began making a mental checklist of the things she’d need.
“Of course I’m ready! You wouldn’t believe how long I’ve practiced at making this dish all because I wanted you to try it.” Cia confessed. “I-I mean… I do like to cook, but having a goal makes it all the more worth the effort.”
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “I see. Makes me even more excited to try it then... Tell me, however, what is your favorite sweet? Gives me a better idea of which one of my desserts I should make to go with the food.”

A cheeky grin from him. He was out to impress her now... For what reason, he wasn’t sure, but one thing was for certain, he was going to do his damnedest.

“Hm… Here.” Riju remarked before producing a medallion on a loop. “Wear this when you want to enter town as a wolf through any of the main gates. Patricia wears one too, it’s sort of like a collar.” She explained while missing certain kinds of implications that could be had.
The chief decided not to remark further on his secret. She’d teased him about it, but in all honesty she was happy that it could end up a true promise. It seemed to bring him issue too, Riju could see it in his eyes.
While giving him a reassuring smile she took Link’s hand in her own. The small Gerudo lead him out of town as stealthily as possible, though when getting to one of the outer gates she had to use her authority to shoo them away. From there Link was taken outside of the city’s walls.
“There, you’re safe from being thrown out. I didn’t want them being rough with you.” She explained. “May I ask you something a bit personal? Why do you seem so skittish regarding that secret of your’s? I find it quite charming.”
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫ “Oh... Thanks for this. I’d rather not be thrown out or considered trouble in wolf form.”

A nervous laugh, as he slid the item into his pack.

“As for why... I don’t know. I don’t think everyone would find it charming like you do. Some might consider it bad magic... Or a curse... Or something similar. To be honest, at first it was a curse that was put on me, but due to things that happened, I was able to turn it off and on by my own will.”

Avatar
“I’m glad you like it, but you have other things to do.” Zelda replied in a soft tone as she gingerly took his hand. “We’ll be able to spend more time together in the evening you know. This is a work date of sorts, so consider this a chance to try and out-do me in your work ethic. I’ll give you a fabulous prize for winning!”
What she decided was that regardless of the outcome he’d win the prize; a proper kiss. Besides it could serve as an apology for the pin up calendar he was stuck being a part of.
Image

—≪ ⚔️ ≫”Right, right of course. Okay... So remind me, what is it you want me to do first? I wish to make sure I do everything right, as well as promptly.”

He tapped his head a little, trying to clear it. Flirting with the princess could wait, there was important tasks to tend to.
