2022 Recap
Not that most would be surprised by my lack of updates because of my history but this year was a bit more chaotic then usual.
In September we got a puppy. And while I absolutely love the puppy, puppies are.. exhausting. Like real puppy-puppy (we got her at 9) can't sleep through the night without needing multiple potty breaks. No matter how many toys and how many difference textures they have, she will always somehow want to chew on something else (like cardboard or a cord.) You also have to worry about parvo and stuff so she can't go out to dog parks or anything.
She's doing better now that she's at 18 weeks or so. Still isn'tfully potty trained and stuff but she's better.
Okay so more recent stuff. This has been a.. doozy.
This is mid-november and stuff.
Let's start with the flat tire that broke the.. belt? inside of it. Whatever broke in it made it so that it couldn't be patched or anything and needed to be fully replaced.
Which resulted in ALL the tires needing to be fully replaced. (So $800 there)
Then discovered the next day: a punctured fuel tank. That required replacing.
The labor/parts cost $1600
My insurance did say they would cover it but when it finally came time to pay, they claimed they could have gotten the $800 part for just $125. And then I had the $500 deductible because insurance will never cover everything. So in the end they were saying they would pay for about $350 of it. Which is a huge blow when you were expecting to pay ONLY $500.
So yeah, that's a thing. I still hope to draw something for hearthswarming but it honestly might just be sketches, just a heads up.
Completely different topic/subject: My birthday is tomorrow/today (the 22nd, depending on when you read this)
