hi im derrm and ive shipped demmy in every iteration (des, descole, emmy, emmeline) since like 2015. we got lotsa content in the backlog, mostly shitposts DISCLAIMERS SO THE KIDS DONT FREAK OUT AT ME: 1. don’t think they’re related. i know japanese. calling someone uncle (おじさま) can be used to refer to an older male completely unrelated to the person, and this is the case in several asian cultures. the jpn novelization literally calls emmy “an asian beauty”, implying asian heritage. regardless of that, localizers basically flipped a coin. i’ve also called people who aren’t related to me “uncle”. also these two have obviously not grown up with each other. 2. i think emmy is bi and mostly into women, but des is a beautiful man so he’s a special exception. des is probably heteroflexible or pan. i’m not “straight-washing” these cartoon characters that dont have confirmed sexualities xoxo
