News!

I have some news for you guys that I know you'll enjoy! ☺ So, as many of you know, I recently got a job! However it was only a seasonal position, and now that seasonal is over, they decided not to keep me and let me go. This means, I now have free time again until I get a new job! Which means more updates! But please don't hassle me to post, just know that I will try my best to post a few times a week. (:

The Color In Your Eyes - Part Two

You woke up to the sound of your alarm clock ringing loudly. Turning it off, you slowly sat up and rubbed the sleep out of your eyes.

Today’s the day. The day you start your dream job. You hopped out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready for work. After freshening up and putting your clothes on, you went to the kitchen to make yourself a cup of coffee to bring with you.

Pouring your coffee into a travel mug, you grabbed everything you needed and left the apartment and headed out.

The drive to work was quite nerve wracking to say the least. It was your dream job and you couldn’t wait to start. However, you were scared that the team you were going to work with, wasn’t going to like you.

You had always been a very shy and quiet person when you first met people. Hopefully, they are all welcoming people and you’ll be able to fit right on in.

When you stepped foot into the building, you could feel yourself getting even more nervous. You pressed the elevator button and waited for it.

You kept feeling the nerves grow as you grew closer and closer to arriving at your destination. You got onto the elevator and pressed the floor level that the BAU office was on.

Okay, calm down Y/N. You can do this. You are a highly intelligent and trained agent. The first day at a new job should be a piece of cake compared to what you are going to encounter working here.

The door to the elevator opened and you stepped out onto the floor where the office to your dream job was. You let out a deep breath and opened the glass doors leading into the giant room full of desks and a few offices.

You spotted a brightly dressed blonde and walked up to her.

“Excuse me, I’m looking for Aaron Hotchner. Can you show me where his office is?”

The blonde looked at you smiled. “Hi! You must be the new member of the team! Welcome! I’m Penelope Garcia!”

You chuckled and shook her hand. “Nice to you meet you Penelope. I’m Y/N Y/L/N.”

“What a beautiful name! OH! Right! Almost forgot! Let me bring you to Hotch’s office!” she said, starting to walk up the stairs that was in the giant office space.

You followed her and soon arrived in front of a door. Penelope knocked on the door and a faint “Come in” was heard. She opened the door and walked inside, you following right after.

“Sir, Y/N Y/L/N is here.” she spoke to the man sitting at the desk.

He looked up from all the paperwork and nodded. “Thank you Garcia.” He stood up and put out his hand. “Agent Y/L/N, nice to meet you. I’m Aaron Hotchner, but you can call me Hotch like the rest of the team does.”

“Nice to meet you too sir.” you replied, shaking his hand.

“Come, let’s go to the conference room. You will meet the rest of the team there and we will discuss our latest case.” Hotch said, grabbing his things and walking out of the room.

You turned to Penelope. “Already? I didn’t think that we’d have a case on my first day here.”

She laughed and put a hand on your shoulder as the two of you walked over to the conference room. “Yeah, we are usually swamped with cases. You’ll get used to it, don’t worry.”

Nodding your head slightly, you let out a breath that you didn’t realize you were holding in. “Well, here goes nothing, I guess.”

You walked into the conference room behind Hotch and Penelope, Hotch clearing his throat to get the attention of everyone in the room.

“Team, this is Agent Y/N Y/L/N, she will be the newest member to our team. Treat her well.” he said.

All of them, except for one looked at you. They all smiled and got up to greet you.

“Reid, are you not going to introduce yourself to Y/N?” the dark haired woman, Emily Prentiss, if you remembered correctly asked.

You turned your eyes to the man that was still seated. His back was facing towards you. He had longer hair, brown and slightly curly.

“Spence?” the other blonde woman, JJ called out.

“Oh sorry. I was caught up in reading this book.” he said. He pushed his chair out and stood up. He turned around to face you and the rest of the team.

“Hi! I’m Spencer Reid..” he trailed off.

Your eyes were locked to his and you found it hard to look away. You could hear a slight gasp coming from one of the other agents.

“Oh my god, their eyes.” you heard Penelope whisper loudly.

“Yeah baby girl. I see it. They just changed colors.”

Hope you guys are having a great holiday and I wanted to let you know that Part 2 will come out soon c;

I’m not going to be really active tomorrow because it’s my birthday and I don’t really want to be on social media when I could be celebrating with my friends and family.

But I will be posting some stuff on Thursday though so look out for that! :)
