Survived the war, got together and lived a peaceful life, ending up with a shit ton of grandkids who visit them and don’t believe a word they say.

Random granddaughter: [sighing and absolutely done with them] no, grandpa, you didn’t.

Old Steve: hah! Back in the day we fought nazis, Sarah, some aliens will not harm us! [insert random grandson’s name] go get my shield in the closet, I’ll show these people how to fight!

Old Bucky: Steven if you don’t sit your old ass back down—

I'd like to add to this. You may fall into a job/career in your 20s that pays bills and you don't mind doing. And that's fine. You may find your passion and hate the job that goes with it and get one that just pays bills so you can pursue your passion. And that's fine. Your passion may change - and that's fine. Life is not linear. Jobs can be just jobs. Careers can change.

Life is not static. It doesn't end at 30 or 40 or 50 or later. And a job can be just a job and your life can be successful and fulfilling.

Very important that young people know they can reinvent themselves several times over the course of their life. You don't have to be locked into something forever, your life is only over when you stop breathing. So while you have air in your lungs never stop learning and trying new things.

ex friends are like. last time i remembered you i got so angry i almost crashed my car. i still think about your laugh whenever i see one of your favorite scenes on the show we used to watch together. you made me cry 3 years after we last spoke. i think of you on your birthday. you are a part of some of the best memories i have of my life. i hate you.

when a ship involves one character being so utterly devoted to the other that its borderline religious????? when the devoted character is written to be seen as a sinner, or damned, or a non believer??? and the other character an angel or god-like???? i simply eat that shit UP how can you not??

As requested, I have examined my fondness for terrible characters, and I have concluded that I like them because they're terrible and I'm not sorry.
