The Archangel is squinting in the sunlight of the park - is that CROWLEY? Or did another demon jack that meatsuit? He can’t tell, but he’s staring at him. He doesn’t know if he needs to be on his guard, or if he just needs to be relaxed, so Gabe opts for the prepared approach. He’s low on grace, and it’s just hard for him to tell people apart when he’s like that.

“First time playing dead?” he asks, smirking, “If that is you, in there, Crowley.”

"who else could possibly look this good?" crowley retorts with a smirk, surprisingly calm despite his cover seemingly blown. "not the first time, probably not the last time either." he's had to do it a few times in the past. but this time he hoped it'd be a permanent fix. now that the angel has found him, he doesn't know if that's still in the cards.

"aren't you supposed to be dead, too? again? or did i miss your grand return?" crowley's been out of the loop for months, he doesn't regret it - not a bit.
