The Yellow Dragon’s Lookout
Everyone has drawn awesome dragons for #smaugust, but I don’t have time for this. I haven't logged in to my accounts in a while, but when I noticed that DA gives you a cute badge for drawing a dragon (#DATutorialDragon), I felt inspired to redraw one of my dragons from 2008 with a new location.
The yellow desert dragon from Monument Valley traveled to Germany for a sightseeing tour. This is a real place in Saxon Switzerland, referenced from my own photos. The rock is called the Barbarine and it is part of the Pfaffenstein massif.
I don't really draw that much anymore, but I like how this dragon turned out. So I hope my FR followers don't mind me reblogging one of my non-FR dragons.
