Please don’t complain about Blue Exorcist going on hiatus

So i heard down the grape vine that aoex is taking another hiatus. Okay I know it sucks whenever a series goes on hiatus. I’ve been there for years, but like…seriously don’t complain. Especially with Blue exorcist, since really Kato’s not taking a break.

This isn’t new. Every time a new volume comes out Kato usually takes a month off to work on it. She adds details to the panels, tweaks the script, along with doing extras for it if she has the time. In reality she’s not really taking a month off, she’s still working hard on Blue Exorcist. 

Like don’t get me wrong I go “aw man” when it happens with manga i enjoy(especially aoex), but like usually when a hiatus happens it’s for a good reason. Working on manga isn’t as hard as some reports say, but it’s still a pretty tough job with almost zero space for free time for the creator. 

Kato’s got assistants but her work is super detailed, and she often adds a lot of it during this hiatus for the volume. it’s why i suggest if you can get the volumes. Like there’s a panel in vol. 12 where she added an entire helicopter, and there’s also that one panel where she added Mephisto with all the ladies in vol. 19 that didn’t appear in the monthly chapter. 

So yes it sucks, but like seriously guys. Don’t complain. It’s really immature, and while Kato will never ever see this stuff she’s still a human person who needs a break every so often. Even if it’s just to work harder.
