sum: the disbelieving laughter on her lips makes no sound, but it exists: in the part and the smile and the gleeful curve. [post-canon.] a/n: this was my submission for the @naruhinafanzine, i hope you all enjoy !

There is something truly marvelous about how in love with a person one can be in spite of what stands before them. Hinata knows this, because although her husband stands before her looking a total mess—hair uncut and unkempt, lavender stamped under his eyes, robe drooping off of his shoulders—there is something about the ramen takeout and handcrafted card and gift bag in his hands that makes her heart swell to an unfathomable degree.

It is three in the morning on a work night, and their tenth wedding anniversary is today, and Naruto Uzumaki remembers.

A/N: I’ve seen some people post their entries for the fanzine, so I thought I could post mine too. @artistari-chan did an amazing job and I’m so glad that I was allowed to be a part of it. 

Under the shadow of a blooming plum tree, Hinata came to a halt. The air smelled sweet and tender and when she looked up the sun twinkled between the pink flowers of the tree. She sat down on a wooden bench under it, rays of sunshine fluttering on her figure when an upcoming wind breeze made the tree sway.

Thinking of Naruto’s retreating image of earlier, she sighed.

Travelled halfway across the world to be mine (Italy to USA to New Zealand) and boy, was it worth it the wait! Thank you so much @artistari-chan for letting me participate and annalovesfiction for the constant encouragement.

Every piece of art and writing oozes love and adoration. I can’t decide which are my favourites because everything is so unique and so good and I’m brimming with joy from this zine.

Finally I am able to post my entry for the NaruHina Fanzine!!! ♥ Thank you all for supporting the project and for those who contributed! I had a lot of fun working with you all, especially the lovely @artistari-chan for creating the fanzine! XOXOXO. I got my physical copy about a week or two ago. I’m so pleased with how my entry looks in it! Thank you all for this opportunity! ^^

Since I saw a bunch of others putting up their @naruhinafanzine pieces I figured I should too.

I was given “Spring” for my prompt so obviously colorful flowers and plants were important. XD Finding nests with eggs that are about to hatch was something I did in the springtime when I was this age and that’s why I chose to have them doing just that. They’re also having a picnic lunch though most of that got covered up by the hanging flowers. lol I also experimented with a ton of new things on this one especially with the composition and depth of field (basically: making objects in the foreground and background blurry and out of focus).

I will not get my copy of the zine until I return home (I am traveling atm) but I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone did! Major thanks to @artistari-chan for organizing this whole project and for including me in such an incredible pool of talent. :)

Thank you for asking and for the compliments. I really appreciate it c: For now i don’t know if or when i’ll do another NaruHina fanzine. The number of participants depends of how many people candidate and everyone can take part. Of course since it’s a fanzine only the best arts/fanfics have the opportunity to participate.

One thing is to participate with their works and one thing is to organize a thing like this. Everyone had their work to do. Since i had the idea i developed it.

Sincerely i already explained how things went and i don’t want to make a fuss about it and there is no need.

here is my full entry for the @naruhinafanzine! still waiting for mine to be delivered (curse me for living in narnia) but i already know that it’s a beautiful collaborative piece overflowing with so much talent! a huge thank you to all of the artists and writers for their dedication and a GIGANTIC thank you to @artistari-chan for all of her hard work! without you this wouldn’t be possible and we appreciate every single effort you put into creating this wonderful project <3
