When Emori found out she was pregnant, she was terrified to bring a new life into a world that was torn to shambles. Sanctum was a poorly scrapped together conglomerate of feuding factions, and war could erupt at any moment. She and John might not have been the best people to hold Sanctum together and build a better future, but they had to at least try.
