stop making (y/n) DISTINCTLY white, emphasis on the ‘H’.
whenever i read reader insert fanfics and i see (y/n) but also “my porcelain skin” “my blue eyes”, basically aryan, i sit and wonder what is running through most writers minds. because i know my BLACK mom and INDIAN dad didn’t create a white child.
if it’s an oc what’s wrong with it being a poc, it might shock people to know that not everyone’s type is caucasian. how can you have blm in your bio but also show zero representation towards literally any race other than your own kinda makes me feel ✨sick✨
can i not read a cute fluffy black reader fic about chris evans. LET ME show him what plantain is. LET HIM put product in my hair. LET ME teach him how to make some sexy seasoned chicken with amazing well cooked rice. could you imagine reading a fic where poc reader is famous and well respected, THE SHOCK I WOULD EXPERIENCE IF I READ THAT, but for some reason people can’t fathom the fact they could write that unless they’ve been asked by someone.

even on tiktok that whole trend white girls started with the finger point acting as if they created it no darling you watched some movies with token black female characters in them and took it to tiktok as if you invented something.
