Hey everyone,I haven’t posted to this account in a while,I’d like to let you know that I will just be posting CC to this account and that I have a new account where I will only be posting screenshots, which you can find here.Again I won’t be posting cc to that account and will only post it to this one.If I have anything to post. I kind of felt like I had to move to another acc since I felt like a lot of people were just following this one for cc so now you will only see cc on this acc. It will also help if I want to change my user name on my other acc cause it won’t break anything like it does with cc posts.

If you’re a real human person still using the default tumblr avatar, consider changing it.

why should you change it?

When you guys pop up in our notifications, most seasoned tumblr users will suspect you’re a bot and block on sight.

why do we block immediately?

tumblr has a history of bots trying to infiltrate and establish a connection to a valid, existing blog in order to populate google searches. Simply liking or reblogging a post, not just adding a scam link to it, establishes this connection. Tumblr users don’t want this to happen, especially if it’s a scammy p*rn bot. So, we often block on sight.

So now I have to reblog stuff AND change my pfp?

Well, of course that’s up to you! I just want to explain why you may have been already blocked by an artist/blogger you may have discovered recently, and how you can avoid it in the future.

Reblogging does help creators more than likes because your reblogs will show up on the dash of those that may follow you. Plus, reblogging puts that post on your own blog, and in case the original gets deleted or edited by the OP, it’ll be on your blog like that–forever (or until you delete your blog). Nice.

Here are some free icons created by catalyststuff on freepik. Highly recommend their art for a simple replacement!

see, this is how you inform without guilt-tripping

one of the current bot name trends is a word or name followed by two numbers (e.g. lizziebear61), so bear that in mind if you find yourself getting blocked by blogs you’re following!

I’m so sorry for adding the word and tags Simblreen to my post. It was an entirely innocent mistake as I thought it was just Halloween and Sims and Tumblr all together and I was happy to share something in the theme. I genuinely didn’t mean to mislead anyone. I can’t change it at this point, but I have removed what words I could. I’m sorry.

don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

1) you did this last year. last year you paywalled a gift till november 2nd. but posted your ad on october 30. simblreen dates last year were 22-23 and 29-31. you paywalled your simblreen “gift” till the second of november. we let it slide.

2) this year, you do it again. you post an item that really isn’t even halloween related, do a shit job of “marketing” and then try to slickly tag it as simblreen 2022 (girl it’s carnival pack top just made into leggings), and again, paywall it till after the event is over. you could have just kept it as a regular sales post and that’d be fine! but you HAD to jump on the trend train.

i’m glad you edited the post but for accountability, here’s the original.

3) you have been here since 2014 and a simblr since 2016ish?  you wanna tell me in almost the entire time of you being here (and you leaving for a while to come back with a patreon) the rules of simblreen just escaped you? you know about pumpkin hunts and porch lights on and off but the free part just went over your head? be serious.

it is far more respectable to just…apologize. full stop (no oopsy. no uwu made a mistake. tee hee cutesy anime shit). you knew exactly what you were doing but you and a lot of other pay creators literally do not care about simblreen or this community (outside of making you money to spend on other shitty games).

i get that times are hard. but i don’t know how to impress upon you people that you don’t need to be a shifty weirdo to make money? if you’re honest and up front, people will STILL give you money. there are creators on here that post their stuff, and keep it moving and don’t engage in these weird ass games. it is far less work and less taxing to be a chill person than a weirdo!

i know a lot of early access / exclusive / early (3 months i guess) access creators genuinely are resentful that their livelihood is tied to this place and will do any and everything to be spiteful to people they want to sell. you can see it in the lack of effort and care put into things, the repetitive sets, and this antagonistic creator vs consumer attitude and the feudal lord/lesser god brain attached to it, the doxxing, the weird rants y’all are posting about how making cc is like doing a tour in iraq, the paranoia over “stealing” (when someone is literally just sharing something they paid for) etc.

if it’s gotten to that point for you or anyone else, take a mental health break or leave until those feelings are gone. or find a new job or hustle.
