A new stand up paddle collaboration in the Algarve

Exciting news for us, but YOU probably won’t notice any difference as Zen SUP now manages all the Algarve SUP Tours. Zen SUP have been friendly competitors with us since the day we both started and strangely arrived on neighbouring beaches to start work. It was to be the start of a long lasting friendship where we have shared business and traded ideas. They have always supported us on the yearly Guadiana Challenge (in 2017 they arrived on a Mega Board all dressed as pirates!).

What changes will you see?

No changes, just new friendly faces and the same old excellent service. All Zen SUP guides are well experienced and qualified ASI instructors, so safety and peace of mind out on SUP adventures will still be of paramount importance. Feel free to book your SUP tour through AlgarveSUP or Zen SUP – it all now goes to the same place.

What happened to Nick and Mauro?

After three fun filled years, we have decided to move on:

What about the Algarve SUP Jobe boards?

We’re selling them, but keeping a few for our own adventures with family and friends. It’s tough to get SUP out of your blood and we both still paddle regularly.

Paddle on! It's been an incredible season here in the Algarve, our best yet! (at Praia da Senhora da Rocha)

Winter is on it's way down here in the Algarve, but it's not all freezing cold and snowy weather... Winter is fun down here with Atlantic storms good surf and cozy fires. Inbetween those cooler spells we get some of the most beautiful windless days. Ideal for paddling! (at Praia da Senhora da Rocha)

Good morning Sunday!

Our coastal tour this morning was pretty spectacular. Even though the skies were a little grey the sin eventually came out and there was no wind making it a super sweet paddle trip. (at Lagoa, Faro, Portugal)

This morning's #faro tour was perfect and still. The threat of a few drops of rain hung on the air for a second and then vanished as the sun glistened on the calm waters of the #riaformosa Peace! (at Faro District)

When the conditions aren't right for flat water stand up paddling, you have to take advantage of the Atlantic storm swell. Go surf! (at Monte Negro, Faro, Portugal)
