BronyCon 2019: The (Really) Grand Feature Shitpost
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
-Ludwig Jacobowski (rough translation)
2019 as a whole has been an interesting year to say the least. I’ve spent a lot of it sort of mucking about, pondering on just what exactly it is that I’m looking for in life. Job-wise I’ve done little, yet that can be attributed to the fear of missing this exact convention and also because the most opportunities presented to me are things I’d be miserable doing. Yet despite the many hurdles this year’s thrown at me, somehow, someway, I ended up making it.
What is it that motivated me, I wonder? I might say I’m looking out for my happiness; the thing I’ve been trying to attain all year, the tireless nights and financial setbacks notwithstanding. I knew that missing this wasn’t an option, and I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t show up. That would be the complete opposite of what I’m looking for. No matter what life threw at me, I’d come see my friends at this alleged “last” Baltimore brony convention. After all, nobody really knows when such an opportunity will present itself again, especially with all the newcomers showing up specifically for this one.
Oh, but enough about that. You’re here to have a giggle about the events that transpired, aren’t you?
